Really loved the Chapter and can't wait to see what's going to happen next
But I would like to ask Moonstone what's so wrong about having Shooting Star feat. in Playcolt? I mean with a Body based on Naughty Ranko's Avatar I wouldn't mind having other Stallions seeing her and it's not like she offers her Body for Sex with this Shooting. Also I personally wouldn't mind sharing her, as long as I could be Part of the Fun (or at least watch it)
Hm. I'll be honest, the cheating part didn't sit right with me. Granted, Moonstone shouldn't be so presumptuous as to forbid someone to do something, but that's hardly any justification for cheating. Missing Nail seems to be the bad friend here, yet it's all Moonstone's fault. And Shooting Star is in no way to blame and totally justified in her actions. How typical
I can see why it would bother him about the Playcolt thing to a degree, but as Nightmare_Shinigami said, I would've also had a small sense of unspoken pride about it, kinda like "That's right. That's my mare, putos!"
Oooh drama So Moonrise is upset at Shooting Star posing for Playcolt... I can only assume he doesn't know she sleeps with his old friend whenever they have an argument I'm guessing The Incident somehow involved him finding out.
5571129 Well, obviously this flashback only gave the events from one side. It's certainly possible that Moonstone came around on the topic of the photo shoot eventually, and personally I feel his stubborness here comes more from the fact that Shooting Star discussed the topic with Missing Nail first, feeling he should have at least been the first one to be told about it. Who is to blame comes down to perspective, and this chapter obviously had Missing Nail's perspective.
The upshot here is this: All three of them are to blame to some degree. -Moonstone is too controlling in the relationship -Missing Nail takes advantage of the situation, even though he won't commit to a relationship himself -And Shooting Star's inability to choose between the two stallions has led her to make some bad decisions (No doubt in her mind she isn't cheating on Moonstone. She considers the fight a break-up, thus leaving her free to simply have some fun in order to blow off steam, but that's only a justification for herself. Clearly Moonstone would feel differently about that.)
Moonstone is no more at fault here than Missing Nail is. Diamond Dust says as much. But it's natural for Missing Nail to shift the entire blame on him. There is no one bad guy in this story. Mistakes are being made all around, because these characters are (for lack of a better term) just human. That's what I've been trying to convey.

That goes without saying. You've conveyed that flawlessly from the different perspectives thus far, and you've made it work well with the story. It still just rubs me the wrong way, which in turn makes me all the more curious how things came to be, and what will come.
I must say, this is quite an excellent story so far.
I admit the subject matter isn't always my fave - emotional turmoil, break ups, and cheating - but it feels so real that I can't stop...and being told from only one perspective at a time helps keep any of it from feeling truly bad in the moment. I can hardly wait for the final chapter...with, I'm guessing, Major Shooting Star.
5571930 I know. It's a lot more heavy on the drama than my usual stuff, which is strange, cause I didn't set out specifically to make it that way. It may be in part that I stretched it out to three parts. When I initially conceived it as a one-shot, there wasn't that much backstory to the characters. So it would have probably ended up a lot more light-hearted. We'll see how it turns out in the end.

Last, but definitly not least:
Happy Birthday, Ranko
Even though I already congratutated you in a PM

Having said all that, it was a good chapter.

Oh, it's quite all right. The drama gives it a great deal more depth, and, as I said, makes it feel all the more real.
It's amazing how many real gems come from minor decisions that snowball.
