So, I've read through the whole story so far in a day. Got to say I love it! One question, does this go in with the scholar's mate universe or is this its own thing?

Yes and no. It does more or less tie into the Scholar's Mate canon, though neither will be required reading for the other.

I'll save it for when things actually start getting bloody... So far, I have been sorely disappointed. I mean, yeah, a few fight scenes, woo. But, I was expecting something Cupcakes- or Rainbow Factory-Tier goreyness, but in all honesty, it's really sub-par. It seems kinda crackfic, really.
