Interesting so far. I'm a sucker for Berserk-esque stories which are pretty rare around these parts, and this was a pleasant surprise. Not sure why it got hit with so many downvotes aside from the usual stigma against Dark stories.

Yes and no. It does more or less tie into the Scholar's Mate canon, though neither will be required reading for the other.
I... REALLY want to put in a Borderlands Psycho reference right here, but...
I'll save it for when things actually start getting bloody... So far, I have been sorely disappointed. I mean, yeah, a few fight scenes, woo. But, I was expecting something Cupcakes- or Rainbow Factory-Tier goreyness, but in all honesty, it's really sub-par. It seems kinda crackfic, really.

Warrior, or Guardian? Soldier, or Defender? Peace...or War? The Conflict of the Battlefield, as I like to call it. Luna’s talk with Bianca reminded me so much of these questions. Celestia the Peaceful Diplomat, or Luna the Righteous Warrior? I love how you depict and describe the internal struggle within Luna with such...the only word I have is ‘clarity’.
