Well to me it seemed a little rushed with the changelings leaving canterlot immediately. Although I guess it could be because the queen was harmed. Other than that it was a great chapter, and I am looking forward for more.

And now, the year long wait for the next chapter begins.

6493054 Don't go off the date that's posted. The firs chapter was actually uploaded some time in April I think. Don't know why it says august.

6493109 well, it has now been at least 30 weeks since then, could I possibly convince you to push out a chapter at least the size of the first one by the 6 month marker, or one the size of the second before that point? I'm really anxious to see what Celestia's reaction to these 'new, never before seen' creturns will be - and even more so when she realizes just how long they've been there, watching over her, her choices, and her actions......

In other words, that skeleton I put out, then retracted thirty weeks ago is chomping at the bit (no pun intended) to come flying out and haunt you....

7185309 Well, the battle lines have been drawn, but the forces of Writer's Block have allied with the forces of Life and they're dug in. Unfortunately, they have sent spies to assassinate our allies from Motivation, so our armies are currently locked in somewhat of a stalemate. We ARE pushing forward though, albeit very slowly.

Grandmother passed away back in September, so there's also that. Gotten over it for the most part though.
