the plot thickens! I'm curious for this 'city' though.
Holy Luna...
This is absolutely brilliant!
Can't wait for more.
i like it just like the first but i have one question what the hell happen to spike his sister is gone wouldent he be in the same place as big mac? other then that. NICE!
Oh...my...god..shit is getting real
Although I can kinda imagine Twilights reaction when she sees her friends again: dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/emoticons/shrug_Twilight_future.png "Meh, don't care, now die" Let's just hope that won't happen.
Thanks again for this awesome chapter. Keep it up ;)
Now this is getting slightly insane. You stated previously that the virus could only be passed through fluids, not magic. Plus, re-animating the dead just isn't possible. It takes a beating heart to get the fluids moving, meaning no blood movement no movement of the Ravage virus. And destruction of the brain cavity results in the 'death' of the zombie so you don't need to go through the song and dance of cutting it off and then burning it. A bullet, head smash, or decapitation will suffice.
And before you say that magic animates them, then it would need a continous supply of it. Trixie would be the battery, but the further away she travels the harder it would be to supply the magic.
excellent chapter!

I guess I can spoil this part. Shadow-Mane is actually WRONG when he says the Virus manifests itself in the undeads' forms, he only goes by what he believes it is because he sees the red eyes of the undead. You are correct when you say that the Magic would need a continuous supply! I cannot spoil the actual reasoning behind how Trixie is able to do that yet, because we aren't that far into the story yet, but don't worry, everything will be explained!
I leave no loose ends untied, I promise

Ah. Alright then. Since I guess there was never a problem, then we can move on. I try not to be some guy that puts down fics with harsh words, but try to put in some constructive critique in. I'm anxious to see the workings behind the 'shambler' ponies
Ok, listen to "this day aria" and think about twilight or trixie. Or any carrier for that matter!
this day has been just perfect
The kind of day that I have dreamed since I was small
Every pony I'll soon control, every mare, stallion, foal,
Who says a girl can't really have it all
Shamblers remind me of zombie class from the hl2 mod Zombie Master.
so AWESOME! totally love this story.. one little spelling mistake caught:
Shadow-Mane stared towards the stallion with a look of admiration on his face and nodded "Alright...then I'll go to."
to should be too.
keep up the awesome work!
i was in my class when i saw that this was updated i was like OMG YES my class looked at me and i just sat there with a (Poker face) and exited fimfiction and shut my laptop then they just continued Like a boss
I think Twi is "immune", and can't be changed by ravage, but can still purge it.
ok correct me if I'm wrong but...is twilight the first afflicted or is trixie? I'm sorry I get confused and I'm nt good w twist like that...so smepony please correct meI'm kinda if ya know what i mean

Twilight was the first Carrier to be able to purge the virus from her body. She may not have been the first, assuming there were failed subjects before her that were forcibly turned into Afflicted as well, but considering she started the outbreak and got out alive, I'm sure for all intensive purposes you can call her the first afflicted.
Either way, Trixie was certainly not the first infected.

don't you hate it when you have to go back through fics just to remember what happened last time before you start in on the new material? yeah that's what I'm doing (I can honestly stop here since I now remember the rest but it's a good read)
question though: why would you answer a question almost a year old?
WHAT?! Undead Afflicted?
Fabulous.
