Man shows up in Equestria and has the power to reference different sources of media, but can't fully control it. Just sit back and watch as things go crazy. IT'LL CHANGE YOUR LIFE. Probably not.
The beginning of the chapter was a bit rough with the talk about the author and monkeys and all that crap, but it seemed to start flowing better when he encountered Zecora. Just my opinion.

Honestly, I have a vague plan/ outline in my head now of where I want to go with this, There are certain events that I have determined more or less where, when, and very vaguely what will happen. My writing style is really just to write and see what flows for me. So usually I'll approach a situation that my character needs to get out of, and I see what I can throw on paper.... or in this case screen, that would be entertaining. Not "get out of the situation flawlessly/perfectly" (because perfection is boring), rather "what can I make use of here, that I and hopefully others will find enjoyable", leaving me a lot of room to work.
