"May your blades find their sheathes in your enemies, ..." This is now my favorite fairwell message. And it gave me chills, but pretty much because I instinctually read it in Jack's voice....
Was it this chapter or the last one that Jack met Fluttershy? Please don't let Jack do anything horrible to Fluttershy. Oooo! I know! Jack comes across Fluttershy's shed. And goes in. And they team up and Slaughter The World.
4396741 Huh. i thought it was intentional. This is what i thought was a reference. "The world I come from is peaceful, it’s inhabitants kind" Is close to what a optional boss in dark souls says. The name of the boss is crossbreed Priscilla and one of the things she says is this. "This land is peaceful, its inhabitants kind, but thou dost not belong." I thought you took that and made it slightly different just to see who could notice it or not.
4398951 I don't recall Jack ever saying that, so I'll assume you're referring to one of Nocturne's lines. I had nothing to do with Nocturne or his lines and reactions. There is a link in the AN to the respective fic he came from.
“So, this is your summon token then I take it?” He asked as he gently grasped the key and placed it in his coat pocket before reaching into his chest and pulling free a bloody medallion which he offered in exchange.Extending my hand to closer examine the medallion, I answered, “Indeed. One of the only two way* I might be called to other worlds.”
4443186 and you're doing an amazing job so far, with what I've read. I assume, though that Jack's soul doesn't have complete control over him? Jack is one pain in the ass bastard to kill. Not to mention cunning. He is definitely one to take it slow, then strike when he knows full well that he has a success chance of over 95%.
And pass out you shall :3
This is the first time I've seen the exact same chapter posted in two fics.
I can't help but feel that the relationship between these two will be uneasy at best.
i love how so many of these types of stories coexist with one another, and interact so easily. freaking love it!
If it's not evil it's not a demon in the conventional sense by definition.

4323932 That's what I was going for.
4322549 If I ever collab with Camilio again, I intend to utilise the ability Jack used in Thadius0's character's Equestria.
4323904 .......What Part Of This Site Is"conventional"?
4326381 true enough.
4340628 it's something called nostalgia, that's why.

I saw that dark souls reference.

What is this a crossover of?
4442984 Fable. Jack of Blades is the main baddy in Fable 1, and I'm trying to write it as the mask is the actual mask of Jack of Blades.
