Interlude: City Slicker

Vinyl stepped off the train and made a beeline for the farm up over the next hill. She knocked on the door, but the answer came from behind her.
"Nice'a ya ta pay a visit, city slicker."
Vinyl turned. "Hey, Winesap."
The ivory earth pony grinned. "Whatcha doin' way out here? Some sorta trouble?"
"You can say that."
"Yeah? Come on, we'll sit on the hill and talk about it."
"You don't know what you've gotten yourself into."
"From the look on your face, neither do you."
