Part of what pushed me over the fence and into writing this post is that Present Perfect has been reading and reviewing Unhinged entries in his minifics reviews. In a recent (as of the time of writing this) post, I couldn’t help but smile a bit at what he had to say:

Two things:

First, I'm definitely still going to have to think some more about the series of editing blog posts before I delve into writing them. At that point, we'll see if that works out at all.

Second, I figure I'd let anyone interested know that I'm working on writing an Unhinged entry... and a concurrent blog post detailing how I write them. Chances are, the blog post will be way longer than the entry itself.

I don't know why, but stories based on RoboFoME cards are far too amusing to write, even when I have no idea what I'm doing. I don't plan to continue with the 1 story/day rate, but I didn't plan to work at that rate for any period of time in the first place, so I expect many more than planned anyhow.
