So I'm spending most of my time these days getting my original talking animal fantasy novel Hidemarket ready for beta. It's a pretty good book, at least relative to what I'm capable of producing. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it when I'm done; 'intelligent adult talking animal fantasy' seems like a hard sell. but that's a problem for after the beta readers are done with it.

Man, I just really like those adverbs.

I have a lot of unfinished stories, pony and otherwise. My approach to writing is Darwinian -- I start whatever I feel like, and let the best story win. Lately, though, I've been focusing on my original novel Hidemarket and writing mainly dumb clop for ponyfic. Because clop is a fun and easy break from the hard work of writing serious fiction.
