A few years into the future, Mantis has decided something that shocked Dagger.
“You what?!”
Mantis blushed and nodded. “I wanna have kids...”
Dagger blushed furiously. “But... how? I mean, you’re a dude, you can’t even get pregnant. Even if I laid an egg, you sure wouldn’t lay it and it sure as heck wouldn’t hatch...”
Mantis blushed just as hard. “Well...” he transformed into a female version of himself.
“Eep...” Dagger squeaked.
“Hey Manty! Guess what!”
“What?”
“Guess who’s packin’ fifteen inches~”
*blush* “oh, that’s... that’s cool...”
“Yeah! So what’chu packin’?”
*blush harder* “Uh...”
*Leans down with measuring tape* “Let’s see, you are...” *blinks* “five inches?”

Snow covered the land, making the soldiers feel colder then they'd ever been. Mantis took a peek from his covered position. As fast as lightning, he was struck. "I'm hit! I'm hit!"
Dagger looked over to his friend. He ran over to his friends aid. "Somebody get some ice for this guy!" Mantis looked at him. "What?"
Mantis pointed to the snow covering his stomach. "The ice is what hit me you idiot."
Mantis stared at Dagger’s door. “Um... Dag? You okay? You’ve been crying for half an hour now.”
“Go away, Mant!”
Mantis sighed and picked the lock, walking in to see Dagger curled up in his blanket, sobbing. Mantis sighed and walked over. “Dagger? Are you... crying?”
“Yes!”
“Probably a stupid question, but why?”
“I just want someone to love! I’ve always been the shipper, but I’ve never been shipped!” He started wailing, burying his head in the pillow.
“Hey Hero?”
“Hm?”
“Have you ever thought about using your powers for... good?”
*Hero thought for a bit. He would be well known, and ponies would like him if he started helping more. Hell, maybe he’d even have his franchise and—*
“Fuck no, that’s gay.”
“Dude, I’m gay.”
“I know.”
“Aw, you son of a bitch!”
Dagger sighed and looked at Mantis, who was busy fixing a new attachment to his crossbow.
“I dunno... I’ve tried my luck with girls, but it always goes wrong...” Dagger said.
Mantis looked over. “Aren’t you bi? Why haven’t you tried boys?”
“I... uh...” Dagger blushed. “I hadn’t thought of that...”
Mantis facehoofed. “Really?”
“S-Shut up man...”
“Dude, I’m pretty sure if you tried using the other side of your sexuality, you’ll have better results.”
Dagger was sitting on the couch, texting Mantis.

Dagger snickered. There was no way this prank could fail.
“Uh Daggy?”
Dagger looked up to see Mantis staring at him from the kitchen.
“That prank doesn’t work if I’m like a few feet away from you.”
Mantis walked through the snow, trying not to freeze to death. He was perched on top of a mountain, his crossbow in hoof. He looked down through his scope, watching as the Blade soldiers moved through their trench lines. He grabbed his radio.
“I found them. Few miles out.”
‘Alright. What do you suggest?’
Mantis thought for a bit. The snowy patch he was laying in made his lower half feel numb. “Nngh...”
Dagger and Mantis walked through the academy. Dagger was trying to remember what he was going to tell Mantis. After a while, he finally remembered what he was supposed to tell him.
“Dude, there was the biggest bucking nerd in your exact table yesterday.”
“...that was me with my goggles on...”
Mantis walked into Dagger’s room. “Hey buddy! I bought that picture box you told me to bring.”
“Aww sweet! Now I have a use for those tapes!” Dagger chirped.
“What tapes?”
Dagger blushed. “Oh nothing...”
Mantis shrugged and set the box down, before leaning against a bookshelf. Then, a whole bunch of black boxes came piling on top of him.
“Oof!” Mantis grunted, popping his head out of the pile. “Oh, are these your tapes?”
“W-Well... th-they... uh... they...”
Mantis looked at Dagger, who smiled. “So... you ready Mant?” he asked, placing his hoof on his.
Mantis nodded nervously. “Mhm. I’m ready.”
Dagger chuckled, nuzzling him, then asked, “I wanna know though... have you always had a crush on me...?”
Mantis blushed hard. “I uh...” he gulped. “Well... I won’t deny it...”
Dagger smiled, kissing his forehead. “Heheh... glad to hear...”
A group of Devil Horn marched through the tree of White Tail. Dagger looked over to Mantis. “I’m just saying dude, if you’re gonna ship somebody, then why wait?”
“You have a lotta things wrong with you...”
“Yeah, yeah, I love you too buddy.”
As they continue to march, one of them sets off a trap. The sky goes blood red as signal spells shoot into the air, briefly blinding the soldiers.
“Ah crap!” Dagger yelled, putting his hoof in front of his face.
“So... What’s your plan, Zenex?”
“Simple. I exploit Mantis and Dagger’s biggest fears. The destructions of wagons and drowning respectively.”
“So... You’re going burn a wagon for Mant, then use Dagger‘s aquaphobia against him? Isn’t that a bit much?”
“Nope!” * Runs off*
“...” *Facepalms*
*Knocks on door*
“Coming!” *Walks out and sees ten burning wagons* “...”
Soon, Dagger found a boy, a griffon, he thought he could settle down with. The griffon’s name was Bronze, and he and Dagger were quite similar in personality. Soon, about after a week, Bronze invited Dagger over to his house.
“Woah. Nice place,” Dagger said walking in.
“Heh, thanks,” Bronze said, showing him around.
During the Saddle Arabian campaign, Mantis has been given the job of piloting a CT through the desert. During one of his drives, he came under fire from an enemy infantry division that was on the defensive. Mantis poked his head out, looking at the wall they were defending.
“Heavy CT is under infantry attack!” Mantis shouted. “Why am I shouting this?!” He looked down. “We have a tank! Blow those bucks into next week!”
“Hura sir!” another changeling shouted, firing the cannon at the wall.
Thorax looked at the changeling crowd. They were there for a talent show Thorax was holding. And now, it was two certain changelings’ turn.
“And now, a duet by Dagger and Mantis.”
The two stepped up. Dagger smiled and kissed his boyfriend on the cheek.
“Heheh, ready?”
Mantis blushed and nodded. “Mhm.”
And so, the two began singing their "duet".
