Mantis walked through the snow, trying not to freeze to death. He was perched on top of a mountain, his crossbow in hoof. He looked down through his scope, watching as the Blade soldiers moved through their trench lines. He grabbed his radio.
“I found them. Few miles out.”
‘Alright. What do you suggest?’
Mantis thought for a bit. The snowy patch he was laying in made his lower half feel numb. “Nngh...”
’S-Say again...?’
“Ah, buck it. Crystal Storm’em.”
‘Copy. You heard him! Crystal Storm!’
Mantis lay in wait, before a large volley of arrows came from the changeling trench, piercing the Blade soldiers like wet paper. He shivered, not at the sight. But at how cold it was. Buck the Frozen North.
