A Thought Occurs About Yooka-Laylee · 4:19pm Jan 4th, 2017
Laylee's gonna be a wisecracking smartass who will get us into more than half of the game's boss fights, isn't she?

So Yooka-Laylee's release date has been cemented as April 11th.
And Playtonic has also broken the news that they have canned the Wii U version due to technical issues, and are instead offering Wii U backers a free transfer to any other version, including a possible Switch version, or a refund.
Hm, well then...
Yooka-Laylee is out in six days, and I don't think I've ever, ever been this divided on whether to purchase or not.
On one hand, I have been looking forward to this game for two years.
On the other, regardless of what you think of the JonTron situation, the simple fact remains that Playtonic has effectively politicized their game, and I cannot respect that, now or ever.
I am really, really looking forward to this game.
I mean, really.
The Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts teaser at E3 2006 was, in my opinion, one of the most misleading trailers of all time.
I really love it when a Brony content creator spreads their wings and branches outside the fandom with just as much talent.
If the game is HALF this funny, I will be in stitches.
Well played, Jan.
It's a shame he isn't doing pony stuff—shakes fist at Hasbro—but this was great work by him nonetheless.
It's been a bit longer than expected, but I'm finally back from my break... and Jesus, was I busy. I could hardly count it as a break. Lots of IRL work had to be done...
You can't compete with that. You just can't.
I'm also trying to post more again have to make up for two months...
... Another year has been spent on this fun little site... CAN’T WAIT FOR MORE!
That’s right. Though the series has ended, and the fandom has waned, I’m going to stick around through the thick of it (and hope that the inbetween comedy series and Gen 5 is a worthy follow-up to FiM), and continue to write and produce new stories and chapters.
In fact, I may have a chapter or two ready by the time Hearth’s Warming/Christmas rolls on in. No promises, though.
