BREAK OVER, TIME FOR MORE STORY AND PONY! · 10:37pm Jun 8th, 2015
It's been a bit longer than expected, but I'm finally back from my break... and Jesus, was I busy. I could hardly count it as a break. Lots of IRL work had to be done...
Honestly, I was hoping that I would use the break's non-pressure environment to give me breathing room to get a few chapters done via chipping away at it slowly. How silly of me to assume that would work (especially since I've tried that before). Never the less, now that it's over, I'm going to try to get back into full swing. Next week Tuesday I should be able to release a new chapter. Crossing fingers on that.
On a sour note, I've been seeing a fair few individuals of the MLP community drop off, either silently or with an anger filled bang, and it kinda depresses me. I just hope that they go on to bigger and better things, and maybe look back on FiM with a fond smile rather than a sneer or shake of the head.
On a lighter note, I've been helping certain kickstarters (Bloodstained and Yooka-Laylee) that are nearing the end of their run but have flew past their initial goals. Considering that said kickstarters are being headed by seasoned professionals, I have high hopes in that they will be able to make what they want to make. I've also pledged a monthly amount to a web series produced by a very funny and snarky fellow Canadian that proved that stupid and silly adventures of plastic figures can be compelling and interesting.
Also, got SH2 Pyramid Head in my figure collection now... he's super fucking cool.
