If not by tomorrow then definitely by the end of the weekend for sure.
Keep looking up, true believers! ;)
This idea is my reaction to a story I read on this site. As usual when this happens, I need to emphasize that just because I’m writing down my idea, that doesn’t mean that I think the original idea sucks. Just that thinking about one led to the other.
The story in this case is Comet the Colt of Steel.
Last night I sat down to watch the premiere of the CW’s “Superman and Lois” show. I was cautiously optimistic about it – I had really enjoyed Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman in his previous turns in the Arrowverse, and Elizabeth Tulloch’s Lois Lane had proven nice in what little time she’d gotten in the “Elseworlds” and “Crisis on Infinite Earths” events too. I was hopeful that this could work as a show.
New chapter's up and available for reading!
This is the absolute best breakdown of Superman's relevancy that I have ever seen. It's pretty long–over an hour–but if you can find the time, I highly recommend this.
So sorry again for the delay, but here it is at last!
WE'RE BACK, EVERYONE!
And for those of young getting a sense of just how long the chapter actually is, I apologize again. I don't blame you for looking at it with some degree of "whoa". xD
Anyway, chapter's up, give it a read–at your own pace, of course–and it's good to be back again. :)
-Jade Dawn.
I reiterate: Merry Christmas! Hope today will be a bright spot in these trying times, whether you celebrate the holiday or not.
So I finally got to watch the ever-so-controversial Man of Steel recently, and I thought I'd sort out my thoughts on it here.
Hello everyone, or everyone still around. I know I've spoken up in blog posts a few times recently, but I felt like making up a proper status update for where I am writing-wise.
Rating Scale:
12/10—a complete masterpiece; flawless and outstanding
11/10—Excellent, near-perfect film
10/10—the standard rating; awesome film with a couple of flaws
9/10—a wonderful film with several flaws
8/10–a great film with numerous flaws but not enough to ruin it
Recently drew a new sketch of the Pony of Steel, and after looking over how it came out I spontaneously decided "you know what? Gonna update the cover art again and use this".
So here we are. :)
...and nobody can convince me otherwise.
Seriously, this could have worked out so well. Superman disappears for five years as per Returns, and Batman rises in his wake in Gotham. Then Clark comes back, he and Bruce are initially distrustful of each other before teaming up to take down a larger threat.
It could have been the best comic-book movie ever!
Wanted to share a piece of fan art made by Shrekzilla of Dawning Hope AKA Supermane in the "beta" outfit that he wears in Stallion of Tomorrow's current stages.
To Shrekzilla, many thanks! :)
