My first few days on here are great, I love this website. The only thing is, I've been looking at some pfp's and they kinda caught my eye.
Before I say more I have nothing against people who use these pfp's or the people who make them, it's just my humble honest

Time to round out the original mane six roster with the only character to retain her name from the original drafts of the show, and sadly also the mane six member with the infamous reputation for being a "background pony" by fans. Well, it's time. The special just dropped on Netflix this morning, and I imagine it's only a matter of time until people find a way to pirate it to online platforms so non Netflix users can see it. Kind of weird that Hasbro is choosing now of all times to commit so heavily to Netflix, not just for MLP but for Power Rangers as well. Netflix seems to be in danger of going the way of Blockbuster, the massive video store chain it eclipsed. Maybe Hasbro's just testing the waters for the time being
Having picked up the next two comics in this series, I can get a better view of where it's gonna go in its five issue run. The first one was a decent start up, though I wasn't the biggest fan of using the School of Friendship as a center piece for the plot because it feels too restrictive and again seems to make the whole thing look like a bad idea. I know the comics can do better, they were able to give Ocellus her day in the limelight she never got in the show, so they can work with the

Fluttershy is one of the characters who didn't have a singing double, Andrea Libman sang for her as well as voiced her. This may be because Andrea said in interviews that the Pinkie Pie voice took a tole on her, so just doing it must've strained her and made singing harder than with Fluttershy. Strangely enough though, Fluttershy has had nine songs to herself with two even technically coming from another persona of hers, giving her more than you would expect (and more than Rarity). So just two episodes after "Bloom and Gloom" potentially opened the door for the next phase of the CMC's development, we now had this episode involving them looking for an outlaw. Dave Polsky was picked to write this episode, coincidentally around the time he was establishing himself on the then new Sonic Boom cartoon. Considering Dave had undergone a writing metamorphosis in Season 4, shedding his usual comedic ways and branching out into new areas, this should've been a good sign
The comics had been going through some ups and downs, but managing to make it to ten issues is quite impressive in hindsight considering how many short lived side series were lucky to get even half of that (and it seems IDW has given up on trying to have a side series all together now. Since "Feats of Friendship" wrapped up they've announced nothing to fill the gap). Now we come to what may be the only bright light in this sea of darkness (at least for the foreseeable future, it'll be a couple of episodes before we get another one above average) and it's Rarity's second focus episode to boot. So now it's onto the back half of the episodes released for Make Your Mark: Chapter 2 so far, maybe this second half can turn things around? Well, we've got a Hitch and Sunny episode, and Sunny certainly needs another focus episode, as does Hitch considering the way he was written back in "Growing Pains". Then again, the plot synopsis is one that FiM already did a couple of times, particularly in "A Royal Problem". But then again, "A Royal Problem" was controversial and remains hotly
So, yeah! I’m gonna stop making promises about stories I intend to write, because usually my ideas fall flat and I change my mind, or I just never even get started writing them. So, from now on, I will only mention new stories when I already have a decent amount written, and am about ready to publish. 
Season 5's first half had been unfortunately quite the rollercoaster ride, perhaps hampered by two new writers debuting to less than stellar results and M. A. Larson hating the idea of story editor, to the point where he handed it back to Meghan McCarthy. By now word had come out that a theatrical movie was in the works, and Meghan would begin to be called away to help work on it. Still, for the time being she was serving as story editor again.
