Don't you love it when you get shot on accident by your NPC sidekick who was targeting some rats but hit you instead?
Don't you love it when you get shot on accident by your NPC sidekick who was targeting some rats but hit you instead?
Just like before, these are getting more and more uncommon as I'm finding myself breaking up my day into separate blogs. Either way, let's just get on with in. :P
Productivity rates? What is this productivity that you speak of?
Random Fact: My kindergarten teacher was racist. Guess who switched schools ASAP?

At this point, I'll just say that the US has a loooooong way back to the top once Trump's out. There's deals to fix, Nazis to punch point out, agreements to re-agree to, climate to un-change, and overall, everyone just needs some time to heal.
Random farts facts~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WITH EXTRA SARCASM!
Farts are smelly.
Farts are stinky.
Farts are all of the above when one does it in a tent on a hot day filled with multiple people.
Don’t light farts on fire. They are flammable.

Random Fact: In the "Sonic the Comic" series, Dr. Robotnik, AKA Dr. Eggman, was formerly Dr. Ovi Kintobor, the reverse of "Ivo Robotnik", Dr. Eggman's name. How did he become Eggman? He got fused with a rotten egg. How? Apparently future Sonic travelled back in time to purposely turn the guy evil because his evilness somehow both saves and destroys the world. Somehow.

2 - "Take a look around" - Draft 2.1 (Unfinished)
I swear, Oracle, if you label another release of Java as "i586" and instead give me an i686 binary, I'm gonna be very, very annoyed.
Ye.
Random Fact: The next time a major total solar eclipse will occur in the US is 2024, followed by 2045.
Thoughts & Opinions~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was second in line to get eclipse glasses today, and not only did I get a pair, but since I was one of the earliest in line, there were also pinhole projectors, phone camera filters for the eclipse, and 3d-printed souvenirs for the eclipse. They handed one of each to me.
...
...
At least I have a spare pair of glasses.
Random Fact: before LEDs became prominently used in displays for household electronics like DVD players and stuff, VFD displays were instead used. VFD standing for "Vacuum Fluorescent Display". Basically, the panel was pretty much a flattened vacuum tube that glowed.

Battery cases for phones are very nice.
DON’T DROP IT, LINUS!
Random Fact: The first computer mouse ever invented was basically a brick of wood with a button on top and wheels on the bottom. Seriously.

This blog is the meaning of life.
Random Fact: Before their downfall, 3.5” floppy disks were occasionally shipped as “DMF” disks, which stored around 1.63 or so megabytes, rather than 1.44.
600TH BLOG POST!
Now, let’s take a look back at my very first blog post.
Hmm... I should probably update something, shouldn't I? Oh well. I guess that's what happens when midterms come 'round.
WHO LIVES IN A PINEAPPLE UNDER THE SEA?!
Random Fact: Rice Krispies Treats are literally just the cereal doused in some marshmallows and glaze.
Apparently, some late revisions of the AMD K6-2/3+ had limited support for CMOV. Just enough that it barely worked, but apparently not enough to function properly without severe instability. No wonder why the K6 line is "i586 compatible", at the same time as being a "6th generation processor".
You probably don't know how annoying it is to realize that 95% of all modern software no longer works on an older computer that you have.
Random Fact: Linux has thousands of variations, or "distros".
First day of Robotics was today. Hopefully the freshmen who joined aren't gonna abandon ship after picture day like last year.
Besides that, today was overall another meh day.
I gave up on trying to enjoy my weekend for this week.
Random Fact: Comcast is literally so poorly received that they've won an award for being the worst company in existence.
Haha. Internet issues!
That sudden realization when you realize that there just might be a rare model of the K6-3+ family that supports CMOV...
Random Fact: Though many distros have long-since abandoned i586-class processors, there's still a small handful that remain supporting it, both due to the necessity to be small and quick, and due to the nature of the distros as being the "lightweight linux" versions.

Added in a missing detail to the first chapter, began work on third chapter. The third chapter also addresses a minor plot hole pointed out by commenters in Pony-Me, replacing the food that Lisa eats after waking with something that'd be more digestible to someone who hasn't eaten solid food in years.

I did not build my PC to get hundreds of frames per second only to have the freakin' server lag instead.
Random Fact: Mineplex probably runs its servers off of a potato rack. Probably. Either way, they're pretty much one of the laggiest (and biggest) Minecraft server to exist.
Not your usual daily blog this time. WARNING: THIS IS A RANT ABOUT THE STATE OF THE WORLD, AND MAY CONTAIN INSULTS.
Let's start it off with something a bit widespread.
Global Warming. If you don't think it's real, screw you. The place I'm living in is heading for another drought soon if things don't get snowy.
You know how in the Northern Hemisphere, it should practically be winter by now?
And you know how Utah is supposedly well-known for its snow?
Well golly-gee, it's been quite a while, hasn't it?
Random Fact: For the first time in nearly a decade, AMD is actually beginning to see a higher market share than Intel in certain areas of the world.
