I gave up on trying to enjoy my weekend for this week.
Random Fact: Comcast is literally so poorly received that they've won an award for being the worst company in existence.
Haha. Internet issues!
I tried getting back into minigame play in Minecraft over the weekend. When my internet wasn't cutting out and kicking me from the game every 5 minutes or so, every server I'd be on would put me on a team full of people with a 90% chance of quitting after the first 10 seconds, going AFK for the entire game, or just being plain stupid and watching the other teams destroy them.
On top of that, there's still Mineplex's horrible issues with hackers in the game.
Ever try to keep your 6-person AFK team alive by defending a single bridge from invasion by ~12 other people spread across multiple teams? I did that once, but only because I already had full diamond armor by then. Every other time so far I've never gotten the chance to equip anything higher than an iron chestplate before getting creamed by another invasion. And then scrambling to try and buy more armor... and then dying again, then more armor, then dying again, then the entire opponent team comes in and wipes everything from existence with their full-diamond team.
If you can't tell, I'm very irritated by everything right now, and hearing that Net Neutrality is likely gonna be repealed soon despite numerous protests is only worsening it.
Also, Comcast seems to already be ignoring Net Neutrality and giving certain websites fast lanes. Like speedtest.net. I tried to prove a point to my sister that everything was lag, in that while Google took several minutes to load, speedtest.net not only loaded in seconds, but reported a respectable speed of >40Mbps.
Ever tried writing an essay in Google Docs only to realize your internet cut out 15 minutes ago so nothing saved? Yeah. There's a reason why I dug out and installed an old copy of Microsoft Office XP.

Find some good solo games to play if Comcast keeps giving you issues.
