Because my first job hates me and doesn't want to give me consistent days off, the days I need to write, I'll be cutting back to one post every three weeks. In my opinion the story failed because I suck at advertising, but the damage was done so I decided to reboot. Sorry folks. I haven't been able to write anything in a few weeks. Everything I've posted was pre-written many weeks ago. Further, after making it blatantly apparent that the main character is people's least favorite aspect of the story, I will hopefully use this time to go back and fix up past chapters. I think we can all agree that the opening few are especially weak and are in need of some serious refurbishing. So, until further notice, I will only be posting new chapters every other Monday.

For anypony who's been paying attention, Thomas a pretty bad case of social awkwardness, something I had previously described as depression. However, that may not be the full story. As I imagine to be the case, stories revolving around characters with such conditions are rarely written unless the writer has some personal connection to the condition, either possessing it or knowing someone who does. In this case, I base Thomas' reactions after my own experiences.

Sorry folks, but I'm afraid there won't be a Friday chapter for a while. The more I look at it, there are just so many things going on and not going on enough that my story is looking like a real mess. I never expected for this to take off as much as it had, and sadly it shows with how meager the earlier chapters are. Until I get things sorted, I'll only be posting one chapter per week for the foreseeable future.

I've encountered a block several chapters down the line and I can't quite figure out how I want them arranged. Anybody want to volunteer to help a writer out?
