Saw it for 13 bucks at EB yesterday, needed something to play with MMBN wearing thin and Pokemon Moon failing to engage. "Sure, why not."

To preface - I don't hate Final Fantasy X. IMHO, none of the main series (numbered) Final Fantasy are bad. But some are much less good than others. And this is the least good.

But will this remaster prove me wrong or will it vindicate my distaste?

Well, we found out the origins of the Tree of Harmony- it grew from a seed created by Starswirl and the rest of the Pillars of Old Equestria sacrificing themselves, sealing themselves away with the Pony of Shadows.

And that officially puts the show and comics in conflict again as Starswirl found the tree in the comics.

Because let's be honest, that night in the woods after escaping Belle, Yuna and Tidus did it. I'm serious. The music, the imagery, the kissing. It's my headcanon they screwed that night. Either way this is probably as close as Square Enix will ever come to actually showing two characters having sex.
