So I've been working on the latest chapter of M.L.G. recently, and along the way I've been thinking to myself: what songs, heard in-story or otherwise, would fit the characters the best for the sake of their appearances?
Just going by what's been seen of them up until this point: of Quarter's nine agents (not counting Ignition), who would you say you like the most?

Writing can get a little bit annoying sometimes when you make up new characters on the fly. Or in this case, on the snake.
The next chapter's currently in progress, but one of the reasons for its delay---aside from the usual excuses of work, tiredness, and gaming---is that I'm having difficulty writing a scene with a one-chapter character in it. In an earlier chapter Leviathan detected a sea monster down in the ocean depths, and I was going to have the two of them cross paths.
I've accumulated a fair bit of junk since I began working on M.L.G. Care to check it out? >^_^<

CHAPTER 6
First off, the next chapter's coming along despite my life's usual attempts at stalling it. I'm guessing either the 17th or the 20th for the update. As another reminder, it's going to be darker and heavier-handed compared to the previous chapter (something that I never thought I'd say about one of my stories), to the point that I'm going to be adding another red tag. Consider yourself warned.
...and mine's full of de-Lays.
Let's see... slight increase in work at the office? Check. "SimCity 2000" being as attention grabbing as ever? Check. General tiredness? Check. Tax season? Check. Favorite YouTubers and Twitch streamers playing stuff like Pizza Tower, Hi-Fi Rush, Luck Be a Landlord, etc.? Check. Needing to spend time with the family (and the family's cats)? Triple-check.
But all things considered... yeah, I'm good to go to work on another chapter. Back in business.

The good news is that there's a real chance that I'll be able to post the latest chapter of M.L.G. sometime tomorrow. I'm having a lot more fun writing this chapter than I did Glintlock's (partially because a certain gold-digging ditz is making her return), so I'm typing it out at a pretty good clip. The bad news is that work's probably going to get in the way tomorrow, so if it doesn't get posted on Friday, it's going to have to wait a day or two.
Earlier today, I was writing a scene for M.L.G.'s latest chapter revolving around the battle with Agent #4, Statuette. I had Levi sitting outside the ice rink watching Statuette go through her practice routine, and she started getting the urge to skate around with her before actually fighting her. When Maverick and Magnum protested and said that having fun with a criminal defied common sense, Leviathan's response was, and I quote:

Chapter's not close to done yet, but I have enough of it written out that I can update the story. "Glintlock - Part One" should be up within the next few days, provided I can remember to take my flash drive to work tomorrow. ()^_^
Been looking at pictures of Central Park recently. The Glintlock chapters are going to be taking place in M.L.G.'s equivalent to it, and I want to make sure some of the details translate to the printed page properly.

As I guessed, life is still throwing whatever it can at me. I'm still under the weather, and after I wrote my last blog, back pain started bringing its own share of distractions with it. I'll be seeing a chiropractor for that later this morning.
What I mean by this is that I've had very little desire to write the latest chapter of M.L.G. Kinda tired, distracted by games, dealing with my sinuses going on strike, take your pick; could be even all of the above. I have my doubts that I'll be able to have some semblance of a chapter up by the deadline.

I've had a few of my readers tell me in the comments of M.L.G.'s "Trifecta - Part Three" that Gray's backstory wasn't something they saw coming. That actually surprises me. I mean, my opinion of the subject matches Levi's: the whole thing strikes me as somewhat cliche. Was it really that out-of-nowhere for y'all?
