First off, the next chapter's coming along despite my life's usual attempts at stalling it. I'm guessing either the 17th or the 20th for the update. As another reminder, it's going to be darker and heavier-handed compared to the previous chapter (something that I never thought I'd say about one of my stories), to the point that I'm going to be adding another red tag. Consider yourself warned.
Now then: there's a quote that will be showing up in said chapter that I'm gong to leave in spoilers here. The source of this quote has been long dead by this point in the story, and they will not be making a physical appearance. However, anyone who's played the Zero games will recognize the quote on sight, and I encourage them to consider the ramifications where the main antagonist's background is concerned.
Speculate away. Either the 17th or the 20th will tell if you are correct.

Well now. That's entirely too ominous. I can only assume it's tied to what's in that pillar in the sub-basement in Cocoa Mocha's tower. Either that or we see an actual flashback/memory of Leviathan's, or potentially that a bit of Omega's code might have slipped inside our protagonist.
Oh god! Omega… shoot, at least he’s not coming there according to what you said but geez! Forgot Leviathan might not have processed (ha robot pun) the (possible) trauma of her encounter with that devil..
Btw i read that text and immediatly cannonbal started playing in my head…
This could imply many things, most of them pretty bad depending on how you look at it…
