Yeah, There's No Way I'm Managing It. · 1:22pm Sep 6th, 2022
As I guessed, life is still throwing whatever it can at me. I'm still under the weather, and after I wrote my last blog, back pain started bringing its own share of distractions with it. I'll be seeing a chiropractor for that later this morning.
Secondly, Glintlock's chapter just doesn't want to write itself this time; at least with Trifecta and Metallium, I had a rough idea of how I wanted the fights to turn out. This go around, my brain is coming up empty on ideas; I knew that I wanted Levi to rescue a foal that wandered into the park where Glintlock was hiding out, but the process is stuck in neutral. The intro and ending scenes for the chapter are the only ones I have written at this point.
So, yeah. Sorry to say that I won't be able to make the deadline. As such, from here on out, I'm eschewing it entirely until further notice. Chapters will be posted when they're done, not before. I'll still try to post supplementary material in the blogs, such as the character profiles (I know that I want to type out the ones for Glintlock and Cocoa Mocha, at the very least), but the story proper is being placed on the back burner until I can get my imagination working again.
That's it for now. Ciao mein, and until next time, stay safe and sane.
Take all the time you need to recover, and dont worry about any so called dead line lol. Those are more like guidelines then actual rules lol

The deadlines were self-imposed. I'd previously set them up to ensure that I would keep the story going instead of just giving up in the middle, like I've done with several of my other stories (including one on this very site). Up until this chapter, they were doing what I wanted them to do.
I hope you don't mind me offering a suggestion for the fight, at least the first half? You could have it be that in order to save the foal, Levi has to channel her inner Phantom and stealth her way through the park using the environment and her abilities, until she has gotten the foal to safety. After that, the 1v1 with Glintlock would ensue.
I assume based off his career of choice that his primary weapon he specializes in is long range firearms? If so, then having the first half play out like one of those bosses you need to sneak up on is definitely one way to do it. (Looks at the Metal Gear 3 boss called The End as a reference)

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll take it under advisement.
