Sneak Peek; Happy Birthday, MLP:FIM! · 3:32pm Oct 10th, 2020
Heya, Folks!
Hey'all!
So yeah, the last publishable chapter of DaD (for now) is up. I'm still working on the next ones, as well as the prequel (which I think needs a little more attention at the moment), so it's gonna be a little while before more chapters come up. The Author's Note for this chapter also has a few things to say.
And I say 'installment' because you're getting (technically) three chapters today. They all flow together and I couldn't really publish them separately (the second is more of a 'point-five' chapter, and the title alone will give away what it is).
And boy, have I been waiting to do so. This is a two-parter, and while the combined length really is about the same as one chapter would be, there's a reason I split it. And it's the reason I'm so excited to get 'em out.
Hope you enjoy!
Just like I said I would, I just published the next chapter of DaD. Might not be what some of y'all were expecting...
Can't have a good story without a little struggle.
Hey, Folks! I've got good news!
Heya, Folks!
While I binge Avatar: The Last Airbender (now that it's back on Netflix).
I did start some writing again before, so I haven't gotten nothing done, but I'm flipping between DaD and the prequel as different things pop into my head. I guess that's the problem when you have multiple things you're working on. I haven't even started fleshing out those mini side stories yet...
Hey Folks,
Heya Folks!
As the title says, I'm reaching out to you guys for a little help, particularly those of you who may have (or know someone that has) some kind of background in psychology, preferably of the child variety.
Obviously I'm not trying a joke myself— I never do. I suck at them. You know who doesn't? DeviantArt.
Even when it's very clearly an April Fool's joke, DA still pulls out some amazing ones.
Heya, folks!
First of all, as you can hopefully tell by the title, this blog is DaD-tagged appropriately.
It's a bummer how often life kicks people in the shin, isn't it? Well, this time it's Wanderer D's turn. He's having some problems with mortgage payments, and it's gonna bleed him dry if he doesn't get some help. See here for details, but if you want to just hop right over and send some cash his way,
Like it says on the tin! Here on the east coast US we'll be starting the new year in about a half-hour. And funny enough, my seven-year anniversary on FimFic is just one day later.
Damn, seven years with you people. And I wouldn't give it up for the world.
Heya, Folks!
So yep, next chapter of DaD is up. Perfectly timed so that if I hadn't published two chapters two weeks ago this is where we would have been anyway.
I've got another couple chapters coming up for ya, but I'll have to go quiet for a while again after that. I don't wanna run Shah ragged asking him to edit 10+ chapters with me over the course of only one month. And yes, I'll want them all edited before I publish again. Sorry.
Heya, Folks!
Kinda spoilers for DaD here, so I'm putting a page break just in case. But fair warning—long post.
Heya, Folks!
Some of you may have noticed that I just put up the next chapter of DaD. I said this in the Author's Note: I wanted to have a few more chapters (at least up to what I find to be a decent break point) edited before I started publishing again, but this is the first of two that already are edited, and I'm hoping by next week the rest will be ready (though I can't guarantee anything ), so I figured I can give you a sneak peek.
Heya, Folks!
No fakeouts this time, just announcing the goings-on as of late. Last time I let you know that I had signed a lease for a new apartment and had been talking to LiveOnNY (NYC's OPO) about a work position. Well, good news and bad news (which also comes with good news and then more bad news) again.
But by no means the end of a community.
As everyone knows, the series finale is tonight, and thus, the end of FiM's TV run (because for those not in the know, there will be a season 10 in comic form). I have already watched the leaks, so I know what happens, but I have no intention of saying anything about it here (even though some people have been in the episode discussion).
The good news is that I saved hundreds on my car insurance by switching to Geico.
