Click the link above to be taken to the survey.

The reason why I'm doing this survey is because unfortunately analytics can't tell use everything about device usage. This should provide us with better data, but only if lots of you respond! It's simply 3 multiple choice questions so it's 5 seconds work.

Thanks!

edit: Laptop = desktop for the purposes of this survey.

There were three of them. Three men on a mission. A mission of extreme prejudice.

The jungle welcomed them, as it did all beasts. It swayed and parted, drawing them deeper into the darkness. The jungle loved its predators, and so it loved these three, dressed as they were for war. The trio was deathly quiet, save for the rattling of helmet straps or the clacking of keyboards as they surfed the web on their laptops.

Wow I was not expecting that response.... Anyway, I'd like to clarify exactly what would be happening with this change and why I wanted to do it.

One complaint I've heard a lot is how much influence good cover art has on whether someone notices a story. For this reason, I am considering removing them from anything but the actual story page so they don't have as much influence.

What do you guys think of this idea? Does it punish those who make cover art too much? Maybe just remove them from the front page?

I've added a short bio field in the edit account page. This bio will show up at the bottom of your user box on your stories, blog posts and favourite lists like so:

btw: This uses the old user bio from WAY back so if you've been around for a while, you'll probably have stuff in it!

This seems like a small change but in reality it's been a lot of work on the back and front end. You can now add sub folders to folders in groups, which should make things a lot easier.

The term "tragedy" as a genre gets thrown around a lot, and is often used as a synonym for "sad". So when a true tragedy comes along, a subtle masterpiece of horror and sorrow, a dark tag is necessary to convey the depths of despair the tale will plumb.

Blackness at first, then... light, muffled, splotchy as their vision slowly returned.

Upon regaining consciousness, the first thing the member’s of Seattle’s Angels noticed was that their limbs were bound, held fast to some sort of metallic object. RedSquirrel was the first to figure out what that object was.
