Appearance: Resembles an earth pony with a charcoal gray coat, golden mane/tail and magenta eyes from a distance. However up close it becomes clear that her features are more serpentine, her eyes being like that of a snake and her coat consisting of scales. Her mane is actually made entirely of golden snakes with red/magenta eyes with her tail consisting of numerous golden snake tails. Her cutie mark is a golden serpent wrapped around a hammer and chisel.  
Likes: Rocks, sculpting, flowers, warmth, cute scaly creatures, gifts. 
Dislikes: The royal guard (for the most part), pitchforks, obnoxious ponies, arrogant ponies, ponies that make demands of her, ponies ponies that don’t follow her rules. 
Personality: Due to witnessing the deaths of her sisters and Sapphire Glance, who was like a mother figure to her, Euresia is very skeptical of other ponies. She is slow to trust, but once that trust has been established she will attempt to help them (preferably without leaving her home). Just follow her rules and everything will be okay. Euresia also feels guilt for going into her frenzy (mentioned later) and because of that she has placed herself into self exile, feeling that if any other gorgonies were still alive, that none of them would want to have anything to do with her. 
Backstory: Much of Euresia’s past before her transformation into a gorgony is a mystery, even to her. All her memories from before her transformation from a young earth pony filly into a gorgony is very blurry for her. She does recall that the process of her transformation was an excruciating experience as her body gradually changed and the voices of the many snakes attached to her scalp began to emerge. 

Shortly after her transformation, Eurasia was found by another gorgony named Sapphire Glance, who not only gave Euresia her name, but also brought her to a gorgony sanctuary. It was here that Euresia would discover her talent of sculpting and get her cutie mark. Tragically a few years later while Euresia was out exploring the surrounding forests that the sanctuary was attacked by one of the royal houses of the moon, a zealous group dedicated to uprooting all monsters from Equestria. 

Returning to the sanctuary Euresia discovered her home in flames, many of her adopted sisters dead and witnessed Sapphire Glance’s murder. Filled with anger and despair, the young Euresia gave into the frenzy, a forbidden form of the gorgonies’ petrifying gaze that doesn’t activate through eye contact but affects every creature they look at (whether the creature is looking at them or not). In her rage, Euresia petrified all of the moon guard that had been dispatched to the area. 

Some time later, Celestia and some of her royal guards would discover the remnants of the sanctuary as well as a distraught Euresia. While Celestria would take care and counsel the gorgony, Euresia could never get over what she had done and so she took up residence in the Canterlot Catacombs, where she lives to this day, decades later.
