Meet the Checkmates - A New World, a New Way fan group

First of all, a huge thanks to Bubba and Aus for solving my problem with the images.
I will start with the ladies, then move on with the dudes. Stay tuned to see how the rest of the cast looks like!

Name: Lala
Division: Bishop
Currently on: New World, New Mind.

Personality: Kind, gentle and patient but also very prideful.

Lala is Char’s daughter, thus she has larger blades than the average Leavanny. She thinks her dad is the most awesome Pokémon in the world and wants to be as such, thus she has trained herself to the point of moving at blinding speeds with ease. She, however, also has a very kind and soft demeanor with most people thanks to her great patience, but once said patience is up, she will not doubt to take a more aggressive route. The second mother figure of the group.

Second one is one of my favorites characters, even though I haven't give her as much love or screentime as she deserves.

Name: Rouge
Division: Knight
Currently on: NW-New Game.

Personality: Generous, elegant, slightly arrogant and cold.

Second strongest member with special attacks, Rouge is a calm and elegant Roserade with an instant liking for everything which is elegant, proper and beautiful. Best friends with Pancha and Roll.

Next one, a fan favourite, or so I think

Name: Edge
Division: Bishop
Currently on: NW-New Game.

Personality: Brash, impulsive, friendly and impatient.

Think Rainbow Dash but with a lot of firepower to back up her boasting. Edge is always looking for either a reason to speed herself up or a good fight to won (she loves to toy with her foes and likes to ‘reward’ them if they show promising). She can move perfectly despite been blind, thanks to her excellent hearing, however, this makes her vulnerable to sound based attacks or simple sonic booms. Very prideful.

Name: Pancha
Division: Bishop
Currently on: NW-New Game.

Personality: Happy, cheerful, excitable, energetic, overly optimistic, inpatient, short sighted, doesn't know what self-restrain means.

The always cheerful and curious, yet not that bright, wrestler of the group. Pancha is quite innocent to some extent, thus she will overlook some obvious stuff but at the same time may be able to notice things others may completely pass by or ignore. The stronger of the Bishops.

Name: Felicia
Division: Rook
Currently on: NW-New Conflict.

Personality: Cheerful, goofball, silly, on her own word, very, very, VERY, friendly.

Felicia is a contrasting individual within the mercenary guild, she joined mostly because of her infatuation with Weiss which she does little to nothing to hide. Best friends with everyone, they like it or not. The one more likely to become ultra-violent in the blink of an eye if someone dear to her is in danger.

Name: Alice
Division: Rook
Currently on: NW-New Conflict.

Personality: Cold, sarcastic, distant, prideful.

Alice is (in contrast with Felicia) a mercenary in all right. She is in only for the money and will not doubt to do any kind of job for it. Although she does have some standards, like not double crossing her team or contractors, however she would stop to consider which 'side' would give her more gain. The more likely to run away of battle when things looks lost.

Name: Ness
Division: King
Currently on: NW-XxXxXxXx

Personality: Gentle, calm, motherly, cerious.

Ness is the least mercenary like from the group (only second to Felicia) as she never fully liked such lifestyle. Now free from Earth, she has decided to look for what she really wants to be in life. The once motherly figure from the team.

This design, even when done by me, was entirely XxXxXxXxXxXx's idea, all recognition goes there.

This is for Ausbrony, you made this lovely way batter than I could ever dream to.

Name: Titania
Division: Rook
Currently on: A Brave New World

Personality: Arrogant, prideful, elegant, strong sense of superiority.

Will treat anyone as serfdom or commoners unless they prove better than her on either strength or smarts (She is surprisingly a good sportsmon). Kindness also works to get on her good side, but she will still see you as a low class individual. Titania is, alongside Alice, one of the only members of the group who isn't meant for direct combat. She is more of a bodyguard specialist. She stays close to an X individual and if there is any trouble, say someone want said X dead, she keeps it alive until the rest of the guild arrives. The more likely to tell a crude truth without sugarcoat it.

Name: Shredder
Position: Head of Queen
Currently on: NW-New Game.

Personality: Adamant, serious, literal, loyal.

Despite being both, a Dark-Type and a mercenary, Shredder has always had a very chivalrous nature only surpassed by the head of Rook. Shredder isn't comfortable showing her emotions in public, but has little trouble with that when she is in private and with people she trust/love (a.k.a. Roll). The more likely to slap someone who needs it.

Name: Roll
Position: Head of Bishop
Currently on: NW-New Game.

Personality: Reserved, distant, sarcastic, cold, prankster.

Like Shredder, Roll doesn't like for others to know what she is feeling, but that doesn't stops her for saying whatever she is thinking on the moment with little to none care. One of the fastest members of the guild (only surpassed by Edge and other Queen) on either her movements or her attacks. She wants to quit the guild, but will not leave without her lover (a.k.a. Shredder). Very fond of children.

Name: Scylla
Division: Queen
Currently on: Old Scars - New Chances

Personality: Aggressive, inpatient, boisterous, insecure of herself, dependant of some, lonesome.

Thinner and larger than the average Gyarados. Scylla was, like most Magikarps, looked down for years, to the point she developed an inferiority complex which turn into a boasting complex upon evolving. Now she always shows off how strong she is. As such, she will always made use of more force than needed, but unlike Pancha and King, she does know how to control her power, she just exaggerates by choice. However this is all a need of attention, as she wants to prove she is no longer the weak fish of years ago. The most likely to crumble under pressure if things doesn't go as planned.

Now the reason Anzu leave the partie... I am sorry!

Name: Valerie
Position: Companion / Former Gym Leader
Currently on: NW-New Game.

Personality: Gentle, patient, motherly, slightly innocent.

Everybody knows about Gym Leaders so I will keep things short. Since she is married to her Sylveon years prior to the start of the whole NW metaverse, to say she is pro Pokemon/Human relationships is redundant. Valerie always had a big affinity with Fairy-type Pokemon and fairy related things in general, thus finally turning into one when Arceus bring everyone to Equss, yet this also give her the uncanny talent of being very proficient with magic, to the point of learning complex spells with ease (learned a healing spell upon whatch it once). Currently travels with Weiss and co. so she can explore this new world, while also enjoying her life with her husband in a whole new light. The new maternal figure of the team.

Who the hell, do you think this guy is!?

Name: Simon
Division: Knight
Currently on: NW-NG

Personality: Boisterous, direct, upbeat, slightly serious, joyful, hardworking, hotblooded.

Simon is one of the three strongest physical members of the group, and second to a very unexpected trio among the guild (I won't tell yet, but I have leaved small hints here and there regarding what this trio is about). Simon loves to yell and laugh and do his utmost best at everything. He will charge at an enemy as well as he would say what he has in mind without doubts. He is fond of fighting, making new friends and guiding others to be the best they could be while hates water and running away (the last doesn't mean he will not retreat from a battle if he needs to). The more likely to surprise people with some of his kind and smart words.

Name: Weiss
Division: King
Currently on: NW-NG

Personality: Direct, sarcastic, patient, resourceful, realistic, good hearing, bad listener.

Weiss is an alias. He learned how to counter Pokemons by training with his team, even as a human he was able to do this. Has been a mercenary almost all of his life, so and despite have done many things he isn't proud of, he has learned to enjoy whatever life brings, after all; no one knows if the next day is granted. He learned both things at a very high prize. The most likely to start a fight out of spite to stupidity.

Name: Chopper
Division: Knight
Currently on: NW-NG

Personality: Direct, serious, confident, literal, passionate, hot blooded.

One of the younger and newest members of the team. Chopper is always looking for ways to become stronger as well to impress his mentor, Simon. Easy excitable and impressionable yet somehow patient and very philosophical, a mon who will jump into most fights and enjoy it but will not even dare to talk to those deem unworthy (that doesn’t means he won’t fight them).

Name: Char
Division: Knight
Currently on: NW-NG

Personality: Serious, colected, calm, calculative, reserved yet open spoken.

One of the older members of the team, Char is also the most experienced mercenary, including King and Weiss themselves. Not somemon to like the spotlight, he will use the minimum force needed to do the job but will not doubt to bring out the 'big guns' when that fails. He loves his daughter beyond anything else and would annihilate who ever dares to harm/take her away from him. He, however, isn't paranoid or over protective about her, as he lets her be herself and have her own life, to the point of having teach her how to fighting when she decided to enter the ‘family business.’

Name: A secret
Division: King
Currently on: NW-NG

Personality: Silent, reserved, good listener, patient.

The tema's ninja. Greninja rearely says a word, as he firmly believes that actions speak lowder, not to mention it would ruin his work. However, he will be there for those who need somemon to hear them out and will help within his abilities. Very pateint, will stay in one position if he has too for hours if not days with minimal sustent. Yet again, he is still a ninja and will perform his dutty with out most efisency.

The more likely to make a fisical joke.
