Of course there will be more spoons. If a race that is 2/3s handless (who cannot use spoons) and 1/3 telekinetic (who don't need spoons) can nevertheless have spoons, spoon-based fashion lines, and an awesome filly whose special talent is somehow spoon-related, then anyone anywhere can have spoons.

Spoons are a universal constant of civilization, it turns out. Who knew.
