Wow it's been a long time since I've made a blog here. I'm not really part of the fandom anymore and honestly even have some resentments towards it these days, but I digress. I just wonder what people think of generation 5 and the movie last year and whatever. I haven't seen it and probably never will, but I'm just curious what the general consensus of G5 and the movie in general is in the fandom these days?
Don't really expect anyone to respond after all this time, but thank you for your opinions if anyone does.

Reaction to the series itself has been a bit mixed thus far (personally, I'm holding out hope that it's just Early Installment Weirdness), but the movie itself was actually really well-received, all things considered! Even in the cases where somebody takes umbrage with certain aspects of its story, the absolute floor seems to be "The characters seem fun and will probably be great if the right hands write them."
Of course, that's just my perspective.
It's ok but not the same.
