I've always said one thing about who I am as a person. "Eternally in pursuit of the goodness in the heart." It's what called me to the show. It's why I'm here now. And it's what I love to write about.

A writer's block? No, a writer's denial! · 5:02pm Sep 30th, 2022

Having a bit of a hard time writing out the next chapter.

Not because of a writer's block mind you. Quite the opposite. I got my storyboard prepped and I know exactly what I want to write about.

Still, I said it before in A Kindled Change. That I was getting tired of having to make life for Chrys difficult... And this is an adventure story too. Curse my stupid addled brain for wanting to add some pizazz to my story. Curse that adventure tag that I'm not able to shake off. Curse the ONE way I know of conveying these emotions.

Alright. I gotta make it up to her. For Chrys' sake. Let's make this tale the best I can make it. A story of a little heroine, and her journey to be loved by everyone. Including the readers!

That's a struggle I know all too well. I've been stuck on "Zinnias" for almost 4 months now. I hit a point that wrapped up an arc for her nicely and I haven't been able to sort out how I want to continue. Sometimes it's not no much a block as it is an overabundance of ideas.

I'm sure once you'll fly over this hurdle though! And if you even need someone to just bounce ideas off of, feel free to dm me. I'm a pretty good listener. :raritywink:

I would 300% appreciate having someone I could spoil rotten with my story ideas! And vise-versa if that's something you'd like to do with me. Since I returned to this site only a while ago after many years, I don't have any close friends to confide in anymore. Real life friends are also pretty machoistic, so can't really go around showing them my work either considering this is FIM stuff. You've been such a wonderful dear to me this whole time, so I'm quite happy to receive the OK from ya.

But not just yet! I'd like for you to get a good feel for the story before I start bombarding you with my trifles. And also vise-versa since I'm still in the middle of reading the rest of your story!

I'm getting there, as slow as molasses drips off a spooooon. (Since I read slow. My attention is constantly getting snagged hither and dither so I constantly have to re-read parts my brain missed.)

But heck, I'll spoil you anyway just for now. Nothing in the way of major spoilers, but here's a little sneak peak at some art I'm still working with Mutters for, before I go posting it on blogs and group forums and such.

:heart::heart: I don't mind the speed of the reader, just so long as they're having fun! The point of a story is to share information or entertainment with your audience, or yourself! So as long as someone can learn something, or get a chuckle or two, then that's a complete success to me!

I have work in an hour, but it isn't a long shift. My weekend however...:rainbowdetermined2: What order should I read your stories in?

It certainly helps to have read A Kindled Change first, but it's not necessary to do so since I try to write A Kindled Beginning in a way that it doesn't need it. It's up to you on that end.

A Kindled Change doesn't have any of the fancy schmancy stuff I'm creating for Beginning tho, as it was written in 2012 and only re-written recently!

They're also quite different between the two. Change is a 1st POV and Beginning is a 3rd, like you might've heard haha.

I'm glad you feel the want to read my story, now I just hope it lives up to the hype! I got work in a few hours too, so I'm just rushing to get some words on a page to feel satisfied about having made some progress. Have a good one for now though. Ciao for now!
