I just had a dream so intense that I need to write it down.....

Did you ever have a dream that was so intense that you thought it was real and everything you saw actually happened?

I just don't understand some people.....

I was only out to buy some simple things today. I had some change left and I went to a nearby park to give it to a homeless person. I couldn't find one and went back to the train station and mall where I started. A man was standing there in front of the entrance, with heavy luggage, a huge backpack and a big suitcase. He asked me for change and said he has no place to sleep. I was unsure about

    I miss these glorious Saturdays.....

I have seen this thread in the Crossover group about saturday morning cartoon openings (that's now deleted) in my feed and it triggered it..... The memory of the Saturdays when a new episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic aired. I miss these Saturdays..... Watching a new episode, waiting for an upload, downloading it, rewatching it 3 - 5 times, writing an analytical review of the episode

Selfishness has been my wrong motivator for the longest time..... and people don't see who I really am because of that.

A lot of people in the fandom don't understand who I am and think of me as a bad person. My friend sometimes does, too, and doesn't trust me anymore because of that. There have been moments when she literally asked me "Who are you?". I was always thinking this was stemming from trust issues that she developed because of events in her past and I was only marginally attributing the cause for this

Late Writing Plans for 2022 (and how this year went, so far) · 2:21am Sep 29th, 2022

So, after a wonderful start into the year with visiting the best friend in all of the universes, a stressful Spring because of Russian Rocketman and a slightly less stressful, but still challenging, Summer resulting from consequences of the former, here are now finally my writing plans for 2022.

As you could already see with the first paragraph of this blog entry, 2022 went in a quite unexpected way for me, so far. Until the end of February, I had planned not to write anything, because I finally visited my friend in the old US of A in the middle of January and after that, was relishing and celebrating for a few weeks while the feelings of that visit slowly faded out. And when those few weeks were over, I wanted to get back to writing, but then..... Mr. Russian Rocketman decided to fall upon a weak (?), innocent, defenseless (??), small country to brutally acquire and conquer it for the pointless goal of adding a few 100,000 square miles to his ridiculously oversized realm..... And to threaten the entire western regions of Earth with an apocalyptic nuclear war. Which is concerning me, because I live in the capital city of a country (not Ukraine) that is extremely likely to get nuked into space if this mad man actually pushes his red button.
So, as a low-key prepper and someone who just wants to protect his ponies, I spent an entire month with making plans for Putin's humanized re-enactment of "Fallout: Equestria", particularly, looking for a good, safe place that's far away from even the tiniest effect of a nuclear explosion caused by the biggest nuke Russia has (if you wanna do that, too, while there's still time, start here and select the 50 Mt bomb to check your local radius), in case the worst happens. I found one, but making this kind of preparation while hurrying and always asking myself if I will be fast enough took a toll on my mind. I needed a good, long break for two months after that. I am not regretting the effort, however. The last thing I would never do is letting my pony figures, my pony plushies and the rest of my pony stuff go up in nuclear flames.

That's what started it all and how I got brought down a path where I have, against my initial plans, not released anything new for nearly seven months now. I wasn't completely idle during this time, however. Aside from the nuclear emergency plan I made, I have also set up a new account for pony art on Buzzly.Art by migrating all my pony drawings from Deviantart over there and participated with at least one picture in this year's Newbie Artist Training Grounds. I have also started to take more care of my health, practiced regular, daily exercise and started to eat much less, which made me lose several kilograms over the last couple months. There's still a long way to go until I reach my desired weight, but this is an important, ongoing effort since May that keeps getting more and more successful.
And despite that I haven't released anything new since early January, I am actually fine with that. I took care of some other things that are also important to me and part of the reason why I'm aiming for an author career is because I don't want to be tied to the strict patterns and obligations of an ordinary job. Sometimes there are other things to do and writing works best if I am in complete ease of mind.
However, I have been writing a bit behind the scenes, too, whenever my mental condition and stress level allowed it, the results of which you will get to see soon. And writing is what you came here for, so, let's put the unexpected challenges of this year behind and get to the truly important part of this blog entry.

What is planned for 2022? My writing plans for this year are very simple:

Finishing as many of my unfinished multi-chapter stories as possible.

Since my writing has, at the end of last year, been fully recovered from the problems that began affecting it in 2017, and because I have no less than 10 multi-chapter stories to finish now, I will change my usual strategy of writing for different stories on different days of the week and instead, write on one story at a time and will alternate between them once I feel that enough progress has been made with a story for the time being or if I just want a change of air. This will allow me to focus on each story better and, once I've really dug myself into the story, to finish new chapters at a higher tempo than before. A new chapter will then be released whenever it is finished and ready.

As the first story, I am going to focus on "The Sky is Gone". I am currently writing down a very large and generous backlog of messages by Silverstream, which is almost finished. This is to avoid that I'm running out of messages again and have to put the story on hold for a while, like it has happened last year. Once the story resumes updating, I will also write down up to a day's worth of messages each day to keep that backlog intact, while still having enough time to write away at another story of mine.
Once the backlog is complete and "The Sky is Gone" back to updating, the second story I am going to focus on will be "Liza Doolots and the Candy Factory". The third story will then be "Reformation from the Heart".
Beyond that, the order in which I'll work on the rest of the stories is still to be decided, but these are the first three I am setting my focus on. When I am starting to work on other stories will be announced in occasional progress reports, which will also contain how many new chapters I have written for certain stories. These progress reports will be irregular, but there are probably going to be a few of them each month. Soon to be released chapters will, of course, get prior announcements, too.

And that's it, for this time. Much simpler writing plans than in the previous two years, but I expect the tempo of finishing my uncompleted multi-chapter stories to benefit greatly from that.
I am soon going to talk some more about "The Sky is Gone". Until then.....

Stay easy as a filly!
