Penn's Odyssey: Semi-Stability?

Hey, guys! Long time, no see, I know... Sorry about that.

Once I got to Salt Lake City, life got a bit... hectic. You know what they say about living in the big city, right? "If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere."

Well, having done a LOT of driving the last month and a half, I can tell you that making it ANYWHERE in this city is more hassle than you will expect. Survival has been my top priority, often skirting and flirting with the disaster of a zero balance in my bank account.

In good news, I got accepted to Utah Valley University! I'm in my second week of classes right now and LOVING getting back to student life... but that doesn't mean it's easy. Because now I'm mostly focused on balancing school, schoolwork, and work work to earn food and gas money. Uber Eats is the only income I've had for a WHILE at this point. Also, since I'm from out-of-state, I'm paying the higher rate of tuition... which means all of my grant and loan money went into paying just for the classes alone, so I'm still without housing.

Yes, that means I'm still living in my car. Yes, I'm delivering food in almost every hour of my spare time. Yes, you can say that life is imitating art and I'm living in a similar situation to The Multiverse in a Nutshell. Honestly, that thought stopped being funny to me recently. I'm just tired.

Between tires going flat, parts needing changing, and some other critical-but-unexpected expenses, I've been living on faith and delivery tips for weeks.

So, yes, the delay on updates is most likely going to continue. I'm sorry, and believe me, I'm as frustrated as all of you are, but... even if I've fallen into a routine, I can't say I'm stable enough to spend the time on updates that are required for my personal standards of quality and quantity.

But... I think the last of my major expenses is almost out of the way. I'm SO tantalizingly CLOSE to a point where I'll be able to start pulling ahead financially and set aside the time for fun and creativity again! I'll be back and writing again soon.
