    Top 10 Series Finales

With Super Stallion finally having finally reached its conclusion I thought it would be a good idea to celebrate with another top 10 list. The top 10 greatest (more or less) series finales. Which fittingly will probably be my last top 10. Before I get to the list here are a few honorable mentions.

    Super Stallion

After a very long hiatus I've finally started to get back to work Super Stallion. But before I bring the story to an end, I'm editing the story. Polishing it up a bit so to speak and bringing it to it's full potential. So whether you've been reading since chapter 1 or you just started looking into it now i hope you'll join me as I bring this story to an end at last.

    The Return of Super Stallion

Hard to believe it's been over a year and a half since I put Super Stallion on hiatus to work on other stories here. While they're a few left to complete and a few other stories I haven't started yet, after some R&R I'm finally getting back to work on Super Stallion. I'm not only going to finish it but I'm going to be re-editing the whole story. Some chapters will only be changed a bit while

Top 10 Favorite TV Shows · 5:24am Aug 18th, 2022

Much like movies I love TV shows in a genral sense, but not as general. So this list was a little easier to make. Also like my movie list, I don't want to waste anytime and jump right in.

10 Full House

Over 30 years and it's still running in syndication, why is that? Simple a mixture of humor, heart, and a handful of fun and likeable characters. A single father has his best friend and brother in law move in to help raise his 3 daughters. When Jeff Franklin worked on this show the general audience was woman and the thing women loved to watch was dads trying to be moms. If you think about it the whole show is centered around that idea, but I guess it's not all that hard to figure out. I enjoy this show I made a blog where I talk about what I think are the best episodes which is right here.
https://www.fimfiction.net/blog/950523/top-10-full-house-episodes
Like I said it's the heart and the characters that makes it good, but also the heart of the characters. To me Danny Tanner is the ideal father, he found the perfect or at least good balance of kind and strict.
Rest In Peace Bob Sagat. We'll miss you.

9 Outlaw Star

This is a show I talked about in my Top 20 underrated shows. Gene Starwind finds a ship and an android to help navigate it and sends out to become a legendary outlaw and locate the Galatic Layline, whatever that is. Along the way he comes across others to help him in his adventures, but also incurs the wrath of the space pirates who also want to find the Galactic Layline and the mysterious secret it holds. It's a fun adventure anime with creative ideas like Casters guns that shoot magic or ships with arms to help in fights called grappler arms. It's a space western in a sense and speaking of which, seriously how is this not on par with Cowboy Bebop? It has action, it has adventure, it has good animation, it has an interesting mystery, it has likeable characters, it has creative ideas, it has an interesting lore, it even has a romance that's done well. Yeah, how often do you see that in action anime?

8 School Rumble

Eeyup, another anime you're gonna see a few of those. I'm a fanatic. It's a romantic comedy, but it's anything but a simple romantic comedy. Tenma tries to tell her crush how she feels while another guy named Harima tries to tell him how he feels about her. Harima could have easily been made a jerk, but you really feel for this guy. All he does is try to tell the girl he likes how he feels but something always gets in the way. What I really like aboyut this show are the characters and all the subtle relationships everyone has. There's a lot of them but they aren't shoved in your face. Also the comedy is nothing short of gold. For example Harima ignores a challenge to a fight and gets inspires to send Tenma a love letter which tells her to meet her somehow. However both letters say to meet in the exact same spot, what are the odds? There's another story where it's a pop quiz and Harima sees Tenma forgot to write her name so he tries to let her know somehow. I won't give away the ending, but trust me when I saw it's beyond hilarious. Come for the laughs, stay for the characters, sounds about right. The absolute funniest show you'll ever see ever that's not about anything that rumbles ever.

7 Teen Titans

One of the many great superhero cartoons I was blessed to grow up with. While shows like Batman TAS, Batman Beyond, and Justice League are great especially Batman Beyond this one holds a place in my heart the most. Teenage superheroes living under one roof fighting crime and the forces of evil. Comedy, drama, action, and heart this show had them all perfectly balanced. Thanos would be proud. All of the main characters have interesting personalities and each get an arc thoughout the series giving them major character development. It's hands down one of the greatest shows ever made, so of course it got cancelled. Get your act together Cartoon Network. I love this show so much I not only want to uncancel it one day, I want to make a reboot.

A GOOD REBOOT!

6 Daria

An MTV show that's actually smart and sophisticated, no really I'm serious. An animated high school about a rather weird kid that moves to a new town and actually manages to make a friend. All of the characters are great but Daria is one of the greatest as well as funniest characters of all time.

The show stood out because it didn't do what was popular it did what was timeless, dealing with various things kids of all generations deal with. More or less. Like I said the characters are great and since they're so different it's all the more better when they work off each other. The people who worked on this show were quite passionate to say the least, they even did this thing for 20 years later.

Why can't all show creators be this passionate?

5 Naruto

Yeah if you're an anime fan you gotta have this on the list. Unless you don't like it whch I'll actually get into in a minute. A young ninja boy who lost his parents despite being the village outcast dreams of being the village later, no matter what believe it. First off I like how the 1st episode talks about his late parents, he acts out a lot but this lets you know the kid is not a bad kid, he just wants attention. On his way to become Hokage his goes on various adventures with his ninja allies and battle all sorts of dangerous enemies most of all a ninja crime organization that become the main bad guys of the series, at least the 2nd series. Their ranks include but are not limited to a puppet master, a fish man, 2 immortals, a secret hero, and 2 leaders involved in a way too complicated master plan involving someone who it turns out is an alien. (Seriously Boruto that was just plain silly) Naruto has great action and adventure while also working in deep themes centered around characters pasts and the flaws of the ninja world that just might reflects ours. While big and epic the fighting also has a lot of strategy trying to figure out what attack will work and what will counter what. Sort of like Chess Extreme. But there is a down side to Naruto, that being the filler. Not to mention the story in the last few seasons where the master plan is put into action. If you don't like it because of that I get it, there are times when the show loses focus, but if you just get through it the stuff that's good is still really good. Believe it.

4 One Piece

COME ABOARD AND BRING ALONG ALL YOUR HOPES AND DREAMS! TOGETHER WE WILL FIND EVERYTHING THAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR! (Cough) Sorry, instinctive it this point. There once was a man named Gold Rogers who was King of the Pirates (which if you think about it is the coolest title ever) his dying words drove countless souls to the see saying he left everything he owned in one place now you just have to find it. He single handedly created the Great Pirate Era, now a rubber boy named Monkey D. Luffy (his 1st named is Monkey?) seeks to become the next Pirate King after finding the legendary treasure, the One Piece. This leads him to making quite the unique crew and going on all sorts of amazing adventures involving just about everything. From merpeople to giants to giant merpeople to drag queens to animal people and I could go on and on. With all that much like Naruto it suffers from pacing issues. For example At the start of one arc Luffy meets up with his crew after training for 2 years then they travel to an underwater island. That alone takes 10 or 12 episodes. Thankfully it more than makes up for it with it's likeable characters and interesting worldbuilding. Also like Naruto One Piece has great commentary. Another example is the same arc that talks about 2 important figures of that said underwater island. One was killed by prejudice, and the other was killed by blind hatred. The arc itself is a serious look at both of those and just how much damge they can do, but it also talks about the secret to defeating those things. The next generation, those whose minds haven't been corrupted. The idea of the Devil Fruit which only put into 3 categories still has a lot of creativity to it and leads to great fights. Again Like Naruto, but One Piece is on top because pirates are cooler than ninjas.

3 My Little Pony Friendship is Magic

What can I even say about this show that hasn't been said already? A young unicorn is sent to learn the magic of friendship and uses it to save the world time and time again. A very clever way to mix the action and adventure where they use the magic of friendship to save the day with slice of life stories where they learn about the magic of friendship. The animation is super colorful, the characters are iconic, the songs are Disney movie level good, and the stories while predictable are still written well. I think in a nutshell why the show is so good, it's just so much better than everyone thought it was going to be. A show about adorable ponies that became a monster of a franchise and inspired so much creativity in people. Here's hoping the shows I want to make one day will do the same. For those reading this and are fans of MLP, I only ask you one thing. Appreciate it. I don't think we're going to get a show as great as this for a long time.

2 Sailor Moon

Honestly if it weren't the nostalgia factor, this and MLP would probably be a tie. That said Sailor Moon is a truly fun and entertaining show. A seriously deep lore with a colorful cast of characters, a lot like MLP. The poster child for the magical girl anime focusing on Usagi as she and her friends unlock their magical powers and use them to protect the Earth from the various forces of evil. While monster of the week in nature it also talks about various deep themes like love, dreams, the inevitability of the future, responsibility, and so on. It also has it's fair share of funny and intense moments, again like MLP. Maybe it should have been a tie afterall.

1 Dragon Ball Z

The franchise in general really. And why? How can it not be? The greatest action adventure of all time. Not just action, adventure, comedy, romance, science fiction, martial arts, intense drama, and a hoard of great characters that have chaptered the hearts from people all over the world. Everything you want and more. Son Goku a boy that lives in the mountain helps a girl named Bulma find the 7 magic Dragon Balls unknowningly starting the greatest adventure of all time. Goku is a great role model that self improves just for the sake of self improving. Which is a mind set that has always stuck with him. He started having trouble fighting skilled martial artists, now he can tango with the gods. This show has inspired countless people such as the creators of Naruto and One Piece and more than likely continues to inspire today.
