So, long story short, I have some relatives I haven't seen since before the start of COVID. I've been meaning to find an opportunity to go out and visit them, and that opportunity opened up over the past two weeks.
And, well… I'm in the airport right next to my flight right now. If I'm reading my ticket correctly, I'll be boarding the plane in about ten minutes.
The point is that the Wi-Fi can be pretty spotty out where they live, and either way, the whole point of the trip is spending time with family. It's safe to say they deserve priority and then some. Point is, I'm almost certainly going to be offline until I come back on the afternoon of the 24th.
Seeing as I haven't been all that productive on the writing side of things this year, I figured I'd push myself to publish something before I left. With some much appreciated help from my proofreaders Falkenlied and Rego, I managed to get it done right at the 11th hour!
As you should be able to see if I've done the BBCode correctly, it's a lightweight little oneshot about Twilight, Spike, and the wings they've grown over the course of the series. I hope you'll enjoy it — I'll be back in a week to ask if you have. :)
As long as an Airbus doesn't make the news within the next 24 hours, assume I've had a safe trip. In the meantime, take care, everybody!

As an aside, being in this airport is really bringing out my inner aviation enthusiast.
Enjoy the time back with your family! I wish I could see mine, but that is one expensive plane ticket for me.
Why didn't you travel by car during the covid? It was the only way I traveled to protect myself and my family. We rented a multi-seater car on Rental24.co.uk and traveled that way. it was great on the one hand because we were able to see a lot of interesting things on the road and enjoy the time we spent with each other
