EFNW 2022! · 4:04pm Aug 2nd, 2022

Howdy folks!

I may have mentioned this in passing before but I’d like to formally announce that I’ll be attending Everfree Northwest 2022!

I’ve got 3 brand new copies of the Rainbow Factory collection, signed and ready to find the hands of the first RF cosplayers I see; be they Dr. Atmosphere, Absentia, or our deranged Director herself, Factory Dash!

I know the PG rules of the con might limit the potential for these types of cosplay, so if I haven’t seen any by Sunday, they’ll go to any lucky fans who recognize me. I’ll be wearing a black hoodie with my username up front and a fairly familiar logo on the back…

Can’t wait to see you there!

Wish I could go. Two, soon to be three children and a job that barely pays the bills isn't a situation that lends itself to traveling halfway across the country. :raritydespair:

How about half a globe :duck:

I'd love to attend. Sadly, I had to use all my time off for family business. Hope you have fun there!

Ahh well. Thank you for the well wish!

Well, now to spend the next 3 weeks figuring how to turn the Rainbow Dash cosplay I was already wearing into factory Dash.

A labcoat with a couple splashes of paint usually suffices 🤣

Everfree Northwest has a blanket ban on [...] props featuring gore, such as bloody knives,

Bollocks, that probably covers splattering clothes in red paint too, doesn't it?

RD's outfit from Rainbow Factory itself remains fair game, but a) it sounds much more complex and b) I feel like cosplaying someone in an identity-concealing suit rather betrays the purpose.

I think the general concept of “Dash with a labcoat and maybe safety goggles” conveys Factory Dash quite well anyways!

Regardless of any cosplay you DO do, if you spot me, come say hi!
