Wow do you know a profile hasn’t been visited much when the last post on it is from the motherfucking descendent. Man I miss that guy.

Thank you very much for that Watch! I really appreciate it!

That'd be it.

1671168 Um, I don't know; as questions go, an ellipsis doesn't give much to answer.

Oh, wait, did I do something strange like follow you and then immediately unfollow?
I think I pressed something by accident on your page this morning, sorry.

...?

Some words about some other people's words

Brief kind-of reviews of some of the stories I've seen fit to hit with a hot fave on this here website of horse fiction.

Fallout: Equestria
It's the first thing I fave'd and it's one of the best. Is this the best 6x novel-length MLP fanfiction ever written? I don't know, but it certainly has a good case. An epic tale set in a grimdark alternate-future for Equestria inspired by the world of the Fallout video games, this will stand the test of time as a fanfic that started a fandom of its own.

The Night That Never Ended
My pick for one of the most underrated dark fics out there. Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash find themselves in an alternate world where Nightmare Moon reigns and ponies hide and struggle to survive. This story almost reached its conclusion before going on hiatus for long enough (over 2 years, back when that was a long time to this fandom) to earn the nickname "The Fic That Never Ended" before it eventually completed. I was lucky enough to discover it shortly after completion.

Cheerilee's Garden
Somehow, there were three MLP gorefics that I had read before even beginning to watch the show or join the fandom. Cupcakes (simple shock/gore, but well-executed), Sweet Apple Massacre (pretty terrible, IMO) and this. Cheerilee's Garden is the best of the bunch. If you liked Cupcakes, you'll love this! Better story, better characterisation and far more cute ponies meeting their undeserved but messy ends. My king of all gore fics.

Rainbow Factory and Pegasus Device
I read a lot of gore when I started in this fandom, huh? Well, here's a couple more you've probably heard of. If you haven't, I don't know if you're new here or have just been hiding under a rock, but go read Rainbow Factory at least, if only for its place in pony fiction history.

The Combinatorics Project
Good idea: ship each of the 15 possible pairings of the Mane 6, three pairs at a time, across five short shipfics. Natural consequence: they get longer each time until the last one evolves into an epic quest across the multiverse and spawns an interdimensional council of Scootaloos. Sound like fun? Of course it does!

Fallout: Equestria - Project Horizons
It's long, it's strong, if you enjoyed Fallout: Equestria but wanted more than twice as much again, with more subplots going on at once than you can keep track of, this is for you.

Background Pony
You want feels? HERE ARE YOUR DAMN FEELS. This is the only time MLP fanfiction has made me actually cry. While I think this story could have been told in maybe 100-200k fewer words, maybe the extra time spent with Lyra was what made me extra-emotional when it came down to... well you'll have to read and see. Whether you free your schedule for a few days or read a couple of chapters every week, I highly suggest you read this fic, but make sure you're prepared to let out your emotions at the end and give yourself time to recover.

The Tarnished Silver series, specifically Twisted: Four Little Foals and A Silver Sky: Four Little Ponies
(Content warning: foal-fiddling) The philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer once said "life without pain has no meaning." Well, if I was trying to give my life meaning when I found this series, I managed it. If gore isn't enough for you, the terrible fates of innocent foals in Twisted will be. A Silver Sky continued with less focus (though certainly not none) on the abuse of innocents and more on the web of interacting factions, deceit, plans, counterplans, power and the meaning of morality when good cannot exist without evil.

Fallout: Equestria - A Mare Worth Fighting For
Ostensibly a clopfic set during chapter 20 of Fallout Equestria, this piece goes far beyond pornography and explores Littlepip's (and her lover's) beliefs in what the wasteland means and how good can exist.

Fallout: Equestria - Murky Number Seven
(Content warning: slavery) Unquestionably my favourite fan-fan-fic of Fallout Equestria. Goddesses, it's depressing at times (although you've probably realised I have a pretty high tolerance for this). I'd be lying if I said this didn't cause me to dream about being a slave, about being in a place where what I wanted mattered for zero compared to what I was told to do. At least the dreams were only for a couple of nights, I can't imagine what Murky truly went through in his life before or during this fic. Just trust me while you read the first few chapters, it gets better (but then worse, better, worse, better again...).
