Well, Guess It's Time to Run Now · 3:46am Aug 1st, 2022
Now that my joints are good enough to run consistently, I was thinking it was time I stopped being absolutely dogshit at running.
So for the first time in over 8 years, I decided to run a mile... and it was actually super easy!!!
Which is awesome considering I'm 223 lbs in the morning now. I still had to be pretty careful and slow during it to see how my hips and knees feel. But they actually felt fine considering the insane lay off.
Now to build up to a 6 minute mile at 220 lbs. For you runners on here, don't tell me if that's too low or too high of a goal. Like with all things, I prefer to go into this with total ignorance haha.
God Damn it, man. Stop being so motivated! You're making everybody who is unmotivated (like myself) feel bad. Think of the children, damn it !
I SWEAR, DEEP. Ugh, your stupid motivation to meet your targets is invading my mind... You're making me think that maybe, if I work hard enough, I may actually be able to succeed in life. HOW COULD YOU?!

5676814
Aww, you guys are making me blush
Seriously, though, I don't see myself as motivated at all. I'm just gonna add in two quick cardio sessions a week to what I'm already doing. It's like 45 minutes total extra a week. Far from something that needs a lot of motivation.
5676832
You don't see yourself as motivated, but you've previously said that you want to look like Omni-Man? HMMMMMM... Something about what you're telling me doesn't quite add up...
5676832
Your average Joe taking a car to a store that is five minutes away on foot, would disagree
5676835
Becoming Omni Man is fun!!! You don't need to be motivated to have fun haha.
5676838
Lol true. I just view all this stuff as fun, so no motivation is required. No one would be claiming I'm motivated if I spend 10 hours on video games, even though that is also just me having fun.
5676840
Ah, but you're forgetting the small but not insignificant fact that fun IS a form of motivation in itself, therefore meaning that you are motivated to become Omni-Man.
5676842
Ah, he doesn't need motivation to become Omni-Man. What he needs is a cool mustache
5676874
Oh no, you can't say that or you might give him... ideas...
5676876
Well, shit. With Deep's motivation, we're all doomed now for sure
5676883
At this rate he'll be able to achieve quite literally anything he puts his mind to. He may as well become the next President of the United States.
*epiphany moment*
Actually, thinking about it, if I lived in America and he was running for President, I would probably vote for him. But that's besides the point. His motivation will almost certainly grant him the power to take over the world within the next decade and a half.
5676885
If I was the President, you should all run to the Moon or Mars ASAP
Probably?
5676874
I am a simple man. I just need my wife, cool facial hair, and the ability to vaporize a whole goddamn planet with my sheer speed.
Seriously, though, a big reason I'm doing this is because dieting is so fucking boring to me. It's so much more fun to chase a performance metric than eat a certain way to hit some arbitrary weight or leanness. I can't imagine a guy who can deadlift 600 lbs, overhead press 300 lbs, and run a 6 minute mile simultaneously not be in great shape. Though I'm probably wrong lol.
5676983
"Probably" actually means I'm 99.999999999999999% sure. The other 0.000000000000001% is for the highly unlikely and practically impossible event of someone better coming along and running for President. However, looking at the political systems around the world right now, I... don't think that'll happen. You have my vote.
5676991
What if the other person is your beloved Iredwolf?
5676993
Backstage technicians, can you hit the lights? I need to give a monologue.

Ok, that's better. *clears throat*
Deep, are you seriously going to make me pick one? Because that's not possible. It is written in my genealogy that I am a ✨ bisexual ✨ and therefore it is against my very nature to pick between any two options that I am presented with. I am destined to be an indecisive procrastinator for all eternity, and there is nothing that anyone can do about it. Thank you for attending my TED talk.
5677046
It's not even that hard lol
Pick someone other than me
5677048
but i can't
5677079
Why not?
5677080
because i can't pick one because whenever i favour anyone over anyone else someone ends up being offended and i feel bad even though i'm not even sure if i did anything to upset them
5677081
Well, you sure as shit ain't gonna offend me
5677082
*remembers that one time years ago when one of my friends said they wouldn't get upset but then they did and made things miserable for me*
5677083
They ain't a friend if they do that
5677085
That's why I decided not to speak to them again after that.
5677086
Well, it's hard to offend me
You can say a racial slur to me and I wouldn't even be fazed, I'd probably find it funny
5677088
Although I won't do that, because I don't like swearing or saying slurs.
5677089
Obviously
5677090
*my friends just casually greeting each other using slurs and dropping the f bomb*
Me: Language!
My friends: *calling me the f slur as a joke*
Me: *pulls out Uno reverse card and says nothing*
5677091
I bet you used the one I sent you lol
5677092
This was before you sent me that one.
5677093
The one I sent you is more powerful
5677094
*confused noises*
5677095
Don't question
Now, let's end this before we fill up Deep's blog with our non sense
5677096
What's wrong with filling up the comment section on Deep's blog post with nonsense? He won't mind, will he?Fiiiiiiiiiiiiine, I'll stop annoying Deep now. Although he'll probably find the excessive amounts of spam hilarious, knowing him.
Deep, if you're reading this, just know that I'm about to boost the view count on that blog that you want to get up to 69069 views. You have corrupted my mind with your motivational speaking and now the goal must be accomplished.
5677097
There is no house in New Orleans smh😔
5677099
*Confusion*
In the meantime my lazy butt can barely get out of bed
5676804
As someone who qualifies as a child according to some definitions agreed! Don't make me feel bad
In all seriousness though, I wish you luck on acheiving your goals.
5677097
Oh, I definitely found this hilarious (and kind of cute haha).
And let's see if you got it to that number
5677322
Oftentimes, it takes me like an hour to get out of bed, so I'm probably A LOT lazier than you haha.
5679624
cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute
Why does everyone always seem to describe me using that word? Friends, family, strangers... Seriously, why? I'm not cute.
5679633
I meant you and your bf (Iredwolf) having that convo was cute.
Would you rather be called gross or icky? Consider yourself blessed haha.
5679634
I know, but... You know when you just get called the same thing over and over to the point where just hearing that name or phrase or word just irritates you ever so slightly? That's where I am now. I've been called "cute" by different people for as long as I can remember, and considering this started when I was a baby or toddler and I'm now in my mid to late teens, it's getting old. I also quite often find myself being treated like I'm less intelligent because I'm "small" and "cute," so that's probably where the hatred of the word comes from.
"Awww, you so wittle and cute like a five-year-owd and you look like a wittle mawshmellow-" Ew.
5679639
Lol. I have the opposite problem. I've always been told "I look too serious" or that I look "too mature." So I get treated more like an adult than I want to be.
However, once I open my mouth people realize how wrong they were about me
5679817
Lol.
PSA for society: Don't judge others based on their appearances. Please don't, it just causes so much unwanted drama that no-one needs in their lives.
5679823
Fun fact: Based on how I look, my high school friends thought I was lying when I said I like to write. They would've died if I told them I like MLP haha. I look the exact opposite of my personality somehow.
I am a big believer in "judge a book by its looks", though. It seems to work about 90% of the time or so. Feel free to hate me for it haha.
5679825
It's natural and ok to make some assumptions based on appearance, as long as you're open to the idea that you might be wrong about something.
5679828
Yep, I'm always open to the idea that I'm wrong about someone. It's actually fun for me to ask questions so the other person has to chance to prove their appearance wrong. It's super interesting, for example, if someone who looks very nerdy turns out to be super athletic.
5679830
Some nerds are very athletic, actually. Just not me
5679834
Haha. You can always look at a sport as a nerdy activity. Getting good at a sport isn't much different than getting good at a school subject.
5679835
Maybe for some. I tend to prefer individual sports.
