I can cope with many things, but when it comes to hot weather I'm a weakling · 8:22pm Jul 18th, 2022

ERROR 69069

Oops! :derpytongue2: :twilightsheepish:

An error has occurred.

Error: Overheating
Error code: 69069

The current model of Angel.exe was not designed to function at full capacity in temperatures exceeding 30°C. Due to the current weather conditions Angel.exe is experiencing technical difficulties. Please wait patiently until the next time it rains and hopefully she will be back soon. In the meantime we are working on a newer model of Angel.exe with stronger heat resistance capabilities with the aim of preventing further issues in the future. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I am incredibly weak and can't survive in hot weather. The United Kingdom should not reach temperatures of over 25°C because no-one is used to it and barely anyone enjoys it. The hottest temperatures in recorded history? Lack of sleep because you're too hot to actually get to sleep, leaving you completely exhausted the next day? Record levels of grumpiness and arguments because everyone is so fed up? Sunburn? Mosquitoes? Nope, nope, nope, nope and nope. Ice bucket challenge it is.

I hope you guys are doing better at dealing with whatever stupid weather conditions climate change is giving you right now. Stay hydrated and keep out of the sun in hot weather where possible, and don't put yourself at unnecessary risk of being eaten alive by tiny evil mosquitoes.

That's just over 26.5°C. I'm envious of your tolerable weather conditions.

England is meant to be cold and rainy. At the moment it's neither. Me no like new weather. :/

At least the Aussies find this type of weather tolerable.

True I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No tea. Seriously. Hot cup of tea? The word "hot" next to a consumable liquid should send you running.
Cold water is your friend.
Try to stay indoors and or in a vehicle.
Do your stuff in the evening or at night.
Home insulation should be a priority, in order to keep the cold in. Prevent the transfer of energy from your cool inside to the hot outside. So no open windows, don't leave doors open, and no teatime.
Absolutely no tea time. That's precious electricity that you're wasting on making something that heats your body up.
I might recommend using only a comforter instead of the traditional twenty-something bedsheets I've heard that you use across the pond. Seriously, the less fabric you use , the better you'll sleep.
Do look up ways to modify your house in order to better accommodate the heat. Houses are usually built according to the climate. Texas homes are made to keep you cool, so even a bit of ice causes a state of emergency....

I would make a joke but this situation is fucking serious. The UK should never have these temperatures naturally. Climate change is happening and if it continues like this, shit will get worse for everyone.

Agreed.

For me the word "car" is currently synonymous with "oven." I'll try to stay inside once I'm not being forced to go to school by the government.

School hours are in the morning and end at 1pm. Thank Luna this is the last day.

I don't think my house is properly insulated. :/

I feel targeted for some reason :rainbowlaugh:

I don't have that many bedsheets, but ok.

Oh yeah, I remember that. I'll look into it, but I'm not the homeowner and convincing my dad to have even more work done on the house may be easier said than done.

I'd speak to my government, but right now there's such an idiotic scramble for power (since the third Prime Minister has resigned in 6 years and now the opposition party wants another vote of confidence) that there isn't much chance of being recognised or taken seriously. :/

there isn't much chance of being recognised or taken seriously. :/

You know, it would be a real shame if all around the world, politicians who are not working for the people start mysteriously dying in accidents like explosions or crashes.

(in minecraft of course, who would want to engage in minor amounts of tomfoolery right now?)

5673557

politicians who are not working for the people

:pinkiegasp: Does such a thing exist?!

5673592
Unfortunately, we are in the degenerate timeline that god threw in the trash because he messed up so bad, so yes, they exist.

But - but they're always saying about how much good they're going to do when they're in power -

:rainbowlaugh:

Air Conditioning. Watch the power, though.

My family's main construction guy is Hispanic and can survive 100+ degree weather no problem.

You Hispanics are built different haha.

Our weather fluctuates all the time. I'm used to anywhere from 35 F. to 105 F, sometimes cooler and hotter. I love the cold too much though...

30 C. is rookie numbers. I'm in India and the standard AC temperature is 30 C!

5674066
That's the maximum I can deal with without feeling rubbish. If it gets to 37 degrees or more I just feel as though I'm being cooked alive. :rainbowlaugh:

I'm still waiting for the thunderstorm that the Met Office keeps promising us...

Where I live, the hottest temp we've had is 103F this summer
