I've been clean for a year now! · 7:10pm Jul 10th, 2022
Well, it's been a little bit over a year, but whatever. Just thought I'd celebrate with a little post.
My life has gotten so much better since I stopped using and stopped hanging around with people who want to suck me back into that lifestyle. I have an stable jawb/income, I have my own place, I have a fiance who actually gives a damn about me, and I have basically no drama going on at all. I've even started going back to church.
Like, I guess I could have it better in that I couldn't be spending $85 to fill up my gas tank, and such. But this is honestly the best things have ever been for me and I'm not going to complain too hard. I shouldn't even be alive with all the dumb stuff I've done to myself, but I am, and I'm so happy for it.
I've still been writing, of course. I don't know when I'll get to posting, but I'm not dead. Mostly the issue is that I want to finish a story before I post the first chapter, and of course, that's a tall order. The most likely candidate for this will be Burning Villages For Warmth, as I've been putting a lot of work into it. Anyone is welcome to see previews of unfinished stuff if you want; you just have to send me a message.
