Penn's Odyssey: Day Number... I Lost Count · 12:26am Jul 2nd, 2022
Hey there, fellow adventurers!
Well, to make a long story short I made it to my destination! I've been hanging around the Provo/Salt Lake City area for most of the week, mostly job hunting and trying to get accepted to Utah Valley University. (My application is currently stuck in limbo waiting for transcripts from other schools I've attended.)
Unfortunately, the job hunt hasn't been going... great..., but I'm partially to blame for that myself. I might just be too picky with what I apply to.
For now, I'm just hopping from one safe space to park overnight to the next, trying not to spend all of my remaining money on gas and food until I have a way to make more. I'm trying to keep spirits high, but it isn't always easy. Sometimes I have dreams about my dad and... they're never pleasant.
Sorry for the lack of vlogs this time, but I've had a difficult day and can't quite pull off the trick of getting in front of a camera and NOT looking depressed.
See you soon, happy adventuring!

Good luck.
Good luck from me as well. I'm also at a point in my life where i want to throw all caution to the wind and drastically change my life, so your example is quite inspirational. I'm interested in where your journey will lead you, so keep us posted!

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.

Wait a minute, you are not a coat of arms!
Yeah this would have worked better with the blogs with video blogs but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also, you are taller than what I expected XD
I’m sorry that I miss the travel blogs as they came out, was busy with university and they ended up getting buried in my notifications. A big shame, I would have recommended you to go to the Black Canyon, in Gunnison National Park, in Colorado. For what I being told is basically the Grand Canyon but with more forest. Based on what you said at the Grand Canyon, I think you would have like it there.
You can probably visit it later, based on what I seen in google maps, you could probably go to north and visit a bunch of national parks (including Yellowstone) before going south to the Canyon and returning to Utah. Or do that but the other way around. However that’s just a suggestion if you wish to take another trip.
I hope everything goes well in Salt Lake City, seems like a nice picturesque place to live in. And good luck at university, as someone who’s almost done it can be tiresome at times but rewarding too.
Pls keep us updated, and most importantly take care
