If they start to put different Professors depending of the Pokemon version we take, this won't do anymore! How am I supposed to work with that? And some elements of decor seem to change too as they show with the different shield emblem before what seems to be the building of the League.

Beside that, I like what seems to be this Generation's theme. Past versus Future. And I can't decide which of the two new Legendaries looks the best.

additionally, for the different decor and other elements you combine them or make both also exist.

for me,the only hard part would be explaning why the new Region had not assisted with team RR during all this time.

but assuming that like in every pokemon game there is going to be a calamity Endangering the whole region via the typical villain of the day messing up, it wouldn't surprise me if it turned out they have their hands full already during the invansion of team RR.

How about instead of choosing either version, you could make up your own depiction of a third version themed around the present, similar to how a some Pokémon games got a third version such as Pokémon yellow for Pokémon red and blue, or I think it was called Pokémon platinum for Pokémon diamond and pearl. I might be wrong about platinum as I stopped playing the Pokémon games during the original gold/silver versions but I know there was a game with Giratina on the box cover instead of Dialga or Palkia.

As for the professor issues, how about an older version of the past professor acting as a mentor for a younger version of the future professor or if that isn’t possible due to neither being alive during the same time period as the other professor, make a third professor that has the past professor as an ancestor and the future professor as a descendent to be.

If you go with the option of a third professor, you could have Sweetie Void work closely with the third professor to find a solution to the timeline issues that came up when Sweetie Void visited the F-Zero universe. This could also lead to finding the current location of Celebi.

I don’t know what brought up this issue in the first place so I am just spitballing ideas based solely on the information in your blog post here, but I hope it helps.

And if there is ever an official third version based on the present, you can just add an author’s note in applicable chapters to inform readers why it doesn’t match up to the currently hypothetical official third version of the game.

Well, you could just hold off on including Scarlet and Violet in the story until it releases, but that's going to be a long time. So instead, maybe try including both professors and factions, and perhaps even a third neutral faction. It could work like the Galaxy Team in Legends Arceus, while the Scarlet and Violet factions are similar to the Diamond and Pearl clans.

All your ideas are great. Well, I think that I will first wait the game to come out to see how this will go. Just a few months to wait. It should be alright until then. I will certainly be in the middle of the second Saga by then. For the explanation of the region not helping against team RR, I could simply say that they did participate but they weren't among the regions that I named. The League must have dozens of regions all over the world, and naming all of them would be impossible. I still gave a couple of original regions like Gordon's.

The time machine isn’t actually a time machine.
Instead, it’s a wishing machine, the power of tera crystals actually granting the professor’s dreams inspired by the Scarlet/Violet book that they grew up with. The original expedition, whose accounts were disregarded as spurious fiction, failed, and they really did make up most of the results, explaining the anachronism of paradox Pokémon supposedly appearing before the time machine was created. This would also fit into the theme of finding your treasure— the crater, and the mysterious legendary Pokémon, grant you your greatest treasure.

• The idea that tera crystals is a phlebotinum that grants wishes surprisingly has weight when we look at terastallization. How many times we, players, see a Pokémon and tell ourselves, "Oh, I wish this Pokémon were of that type instead of this type"? That's exactly what terastallization does!
