How much has the fandom delved into the reasons why she is the way she is? I'm aware of the fact that various terms such as "psychopath," "sociopath" and "potential childhood trauma" have been thrown around, but I want to know if anyone has bothered to delve really deep into all of the potential psychological reasons as to why she acted the way she did in Seasons 8 and 9.
In other words, before I start massively overanalysing this, has anyone else already done it and found any logical conclusions?

2) She's a filly who appeared almost out of nowhere at Twilight's school, with no obvious backstory (that I'm aware of), and proceeded to manipulate everypony at the School of Friendship and others in the rest of Ponyville into helping her with her nefarious schemes, while corresponding with Tirek to steal magic from Equestria. Although, she didn't steal all of Equestria's magic. I can't remember much about the earth ponies, but I think the pegasus magic remained intact.

Lol, I should've expected something like this. I'm wondering if there's some deep psychological reason for her behaviour and what that reason is. I feel like it's something the fandom has talked about but just not deeply enough.

Eenope. Not a massive fan of cheese overall, actually. Pizza and lasagna are not so bad, but other than that I'm not someone who has a lot of cheese in her diet.
Cozy glow is this way because she was constantly thrown away and bossed around in her *youth*. She constantly craves this type of attention, this type of power to boss people around as she feels its what she truly deserves. To give people a taste of their own medicine. Despite if they ignored her or not. Cozy glow was seen as this sort of 'cutesy' 'small' 'stupid' pony who was simply just..That. Nothing special about her. So she feels like she needs to gain power in order to impress everyone
Such as Tirek is with his father. He doesnt really seem to want to rule Equestria, but in one episode (I will find it later) Discord brings up the point of dad. Stating that he would be so proud if Tirek was to earn power. I might post about how to rehabilitate cozy glow and Tirek (along with chrysi) on a blog some time later.
But, in short, Cozy glow is resentful and lashes out in a form of gaining attention.
In no way am I a professional, but what ive seen from her behavior she may suffer from BPD, or DID.

I don't know if there's something in the comic books...which are not canon for the show lol.
As for the show's Cozy Glow, different fans and fanfic writers have made up different possible scenarios, but no one really knows for sure imho
