That's what I get for 300+ page chapters I then decide to re-write.

We spoke to my aunt, who agreed to help pay the extra $90 rent, since sadly that's what a shoebox apartment costs where we live. I'm not homeless! 
That said, for the next month I've got end-of-semester projects crashing down right and left I need to work on, plus a commission I need to finish. I am working on my story a few words at a time, but I feel it would be best to leave it on hiatus for the moment, just not forever now. 
Planning to hopefully get a lot done this summer, when I don't have school and work. 🤞
