Well... it turns out that me not making promises about update dates just might be a good thing in many ways, even as it has its bad side in others.
This meaning... while I avoid making promises because I'm afraid I'll break them, I don't like the idea of breaking even tentative promises, and because of that, I apologize for not having been able to deliver the latest chapter of Chapters of a Revamped Tome before this weekend came up, like I promised in my last post.
I tried, but this particular chapter seemed to be one of those that just refused to be written. I tried a given scenario with it, then moved that scenario over to a different story and started from scratch after I realized the original scenario worked better in another fic, and then the new scenario just seemed set on giving me trouble as well, and I still ended up not making all of it work as I had intended.
However... it is with no small amount of relief that I say I have finished a semi-polished draft of the next chapter. I still need to touch it up a bit, but again making a tentative promise, it just might be up tomorrow. I'll do my best for that to be the case, and I hope you will enjoy it once it's up.
