It's disappointing. (Ukraine/Russia) · 7:18am Feb 26th, 2022
By now, I thought... I had at least hoped that there wouldn't be any more of this but here we are again. The world watches, and most of the world is thankfully disliking and disapproving of what it sees, but that doesn't change the fact that it's happening. This proves that we as a whole seemingly still cannot remain copasetic and progressive at the same time and I would sincerely like to be proven severely wrong on this subject. When I was growing up, I almost couldn't believe that something like the second world war had actually happened. I used to have so much more faith in everything. Now, Russia is invading Ukraine and all I can feel is negativity and a tint of fear. I don't quite care about the why's or the how's. The fact that there is fighting alone is enough makes my stomach churn.
I'm writing this late at night because my insomnia has returned. I'm not usually one for blogging anything political but uh... this is kind of a big deal. If you'd like a more detailed summary of the activity, tnab is doing a great job. Here's his day one blog post.
