POLL: Alrighty, this has gone on for long enough now, time to be productive · 2:03pm Feb 20th, 2022
Hey everypony, Angel again. I have much to say, much to do, much to try to convince myself not to worry about because I really seem to overcomplicate stuff sometimes.
So, as you can see, not much is happening with Fire and Shadows. Let me make myself clear right now: I have no plans to abandon it. Zero. Zilch. None. Not happening. I have a good plot in mind, an interesting cast of characters, a whole entire universe in my head, and I’m not letting that go to waste.
But I can’t not write, either. I have too many ideas, I enjoy writing, and I’m going mad at myself for not doing anything productive. I have a plan for what I want to achieve in regards to writing by the end of 2022, so I’m going to try to do at least one of those. However, I won’t be able to decide, because I procrastinate too much.
Only one way to settle this: take the choice out of my own hooves.
Option 1: I write one of my horrific one-shot crackfics. Haven’t done this in a while, and I know I’m terrible at it. But what’s the harm if everypony already knows not to expect anything great? SFW prompts appreciated.
Option 2: I write that story idea Greatness about our favourite little Grogar-defeating background pony who never had a proper appearance in G4. I could probably do this, I just need some focus.
Option 3: Go back to something old and half-completed that I haven’t updated since forever. If this is the case, tell me which one of my currently incomplete stories you want me to actually do something with. Naturally, Fire and Shadows isn’t on the table for this option at the moment.
Those are your choices. Time to see what utter chaos happens here and what I end up writing. Hopefully, something fun.
