Today is Kathleen Barr's birthday. She is the talented woman who voiced Trixie and Queen Chrysalis in FiM, as well a host of other one-off or otherwise minor roles. And, apparently, she was planned to be the voice of Princess Celestia originally.

Happy Birthday, Tara Strong · 4:42pm Feb 12th, 2022

Today is Tara Strong's birthday. We all know by now that she's the talented woman who voiced Twilight Sparkle across the show's nine seasons, and last year she reprised unexpectedly for a cameo in A New Generation, no word yet on if we can expect more appearances like that in G5 proper or if it was a one off thing.

Of course, Tara has had many other iconic roles under her belt by now. I've already mentioned how she was originally Tara Cherendoff before marrying Craig Strong, how she was originally from Vancouver before moving to LA, and how two of her most iconic roles were not roles that she originated (Bubbles was originally voiced by Kath Soucie in the original pitch pilot, while Timmy Turner was originally voiced by the late Mary Kay Bergman for the Oh Yeah! shorts in the 1990's).

Happy birthday, Tara. I hope you continue to be blessed with great voice roles for many years to come.
