Happy New Year!
The new year got off to a pretty good start. It's still cold, and I'm still working on issues affecting my energy and motivation. Having DoH3 prepared ahead of time has been awesome, as it is at least keeping me involved when I'd otherwise have vanished for a bit. Also, thanks to the friends on Discord who have been helping whether it's writing prompts, or pushing me to write that little story last Wednesday.
Scheduling / Plans
I'm still working on a schedule of updates and trying to get out updates to 2 other stories this month. The big question is: do I update as I go, or take a few weeks to completely finish Ponified Without Consent 2 / Twilight's Dollhouse 2, and then release them twice/week like I did with Dash of Humanity 3?
It could alleviate the biggest "pressure" to write if I write each story completely in turn over a 2-3 week period. Then I can relax and just enjoy releasing them. Of course, then it shifts the work to a brief immediate window of time. One way I'd procrastinate, the other way I'd have to delay updates just to do one story over another.
So yeah, haven't decided yet. Procrastination is almost as harsh a Mistress as Rarity.
Dash of Humanity
I mentioned in a comment to someone I do have a second trilogy planned, hopefully with shorter word counts. Basically I want to do a gen 5 crossover, which requires a bit more setup, and also I should at some point have a story where Dawn finally gets to be happy for longer than a minute. Of course I don't want to get too far into that while still juggling other incomplete stories. It is the thing I'm most motivated to write though.
At the moment we're 50% through the 3rd story! Another 6 weeks and DoH3 will be a wrap. Hopefully I'll have another story completed to start posting. This "finish then post" style of writing grew on me a bit, but not enough to overcome my inherent laziness.
"Dawn Seeker's Day Off" is the 11th chapter, full of references, and hijinx. It was the carrot on the stick that kept me writing through the first act.
Discord
I talk about it a bit in the blog, but it's a good place to chill and ask any questions. Like if you want a specific answer or story update, something a bit more spoilery, or to throw out wild theories, it's as good a place as any.

A couple other fun things to share
Those memes are great.

Yeah, the Venn Diagram and Comedian sum me up well. As for LockPickingLawyer, well, I've got to work him into a story soon because he's just too cool.
