Twilight Sparkle Improving Lives? (Friendship is Failure)

    People sure love to complain...

She always tries her best to get through to those with friendship problems and help them improve their lives, no matter how much they reject and act hostile towards her.

She gets disrespected a lot because she wants to help people, even though she's a princess who's saved Equestria on multiple occasions.

    Sentencing Characters (Dragnet Style)

As you know (Or some of you at least) The Writer is the one in charge. The Writer is the master. The Writer... is... God (Of the world the write anyway)

What will it Change? (Trying means Nothing!)

In relation to my previous blog, https://www.fimfiction.net/blog/1035717/i-have-to-or-you-just-want-me-to which relates to "Are you doing it for ME or YOURSELF?"

People still get up my back saying I need to "Get Help" "Change my groove" or, and the most often said "Fix your writing-- make it better/different"

I HAVE to, or you just WANT me to?

People often go about saying... "You HAVE to move on." "You HAVE to let go." "You HAVE to Improve" "You HAVE to this" "You HAVE to that."

But here's the real deal to consider. Do I really HAVE to, or do you just WANT me to? That's the ideal.

The Show is over (Means nothing)

A lot of people have been getting up my back lately, all yakking at me the same thing.

The show ended (This many) years ago. Why are you still making stories if they no longer have purpose?

Idiots... that's not how it works.

Sentencing Characters (Explained Again) · 5:16am Jan 7th, 2022

After the violations and offenses commited, trial was held in Department 185, Supreme Court, of the Art of Fanfiction, in and under the order of DakariKingMykan.
In a moment the results of that trial.

The suspect was found guilty on a number of charges including, Willingly letting go and attempting to move on.
(Murder in the first degree)

Willingly letting go and attempting to move on (Murder in the first degree) is punishable by Death, or confinement in the state prison for life.

"Garfield Logan/ Beast Boy: Now awaiting Further Execution in future fics
(Placed on probation in other fics)

The suspect was found guilty of Selfishly breaking someone's heart for cold, cruel reasons
(Murder in the Second degree)

"Terra Markov, now serving a life sentence in the state penitentiary for women"

The suspect was found guilty of letting go, and getting her life back on track (Murder in the first degree) and was sentenced to Death.
Execution was carried out December 24, 2020.

"Moondancer: Deceased"

The suspects were found guilty on a number of charges including Denial and Refusal to understand and realize the existence of unpleasant realities.
(4 counts of Bank Robbery) which is punishable by imprisonment for not more than 25 years on each count.

"Twilight Sparkle & Friends: Now serving their sentences in the Federal Penitentiary.

People seem to be in an uproar about my doing this to characters I write about (Giving them Dragnet like sentences)

Well I think I better explain what the circumstances mean, YET AGAIN!!

When I see a character in fiction doing something I do not approve of (Regardless of the fact I can't change it) I'm just so angry about it, and it keeps me awake with so many alternative plots and ideas...

So I decide to either make the characters a little better (Which hardly happens these days) or just plain throw the book at them (Punish them as severely as I can)

There are three different types of major sentences that I use...

-Death Penalty
-Imprisonment
-Probation

DEATH PENALTY...

Pretty much says it all, no detail needed, but that's why I use brackets and say "Murder in the first-Degree"

Imprisonment...

It doesn't mean you're going to be tossed in jail (That pic of the ponies in prison... no other pic I could find expressed what I wanted)

If you get sentenced to prison, what's going to happen is... I'm going to write it so their lives are a living hell. (Nothing but pain, shame, misery, torture, and no hope of things to get better)

-Automatic doors won't open for you.
-People shove you out of the way instead of going "Excuse me"
-A car drives past you and sploshes mud all over you
-A stray ball hits your head and the guy didn't say "HEADS UP"
-Your once friends are now harsh meanies who couldn't care less of your feelings
-No matter what good deeds you do, or how kind you try to be, the people will mock, taunt, hurt you.

...And those are just SOME of the delicious things I do to characters.

Think of it LIKE being in actual prison...

He's gonna rot in the slammer for the next (insert number of years/to life) Bread and water, icy showers, guards whomping your ass round the clock, and the only way out is suicide.

...That's what it means. Not actually going to jail, but torture and misery.

The suspect was found guilty of Selfishly breaking someone's heart for cold, cruel reasons
(Murder in the Second degree)

"Terra Markov, now serving a life sentence in the state penitentiary for women"

She wants to live a normal life, that's understandable... but faking amnesia, trying to BURY/DENY her past, and stabbing BB so hard in the back that it comes out through his heart... totally inexcusable and unforgivable. (After all... THOSE WHO FORGET THEIR PASTS ARE DOOMED TO REPEAT IT)

So she's being punished...

-She'll get bad grades
-Work a dead-end job (at best)
-No opportunities
-She's unpopular at school
-Boys don't like her and won't date her (Some know who she really is)
-Her conscience... ohh the jackpot. Even if BB doesn't talk to her again, the guilt, the pressure, the shame, the haunting... She won't be sleeping very well.

"I guess being a selfish rat to a mouse like Beast Boy really doesn't pay. Just ask Terra... She learned the hard way that it's not healthy to go to bed with a guilty conscience-- your dreams may come back to haunt you."

Moving on...

PROBATION...

The character doesn't have to die, or face too-too much penalty, but they must live their lives according to MY TERMS.

Example...

Beast Boy in Yu-Gi-Oh E-Quest.

He is 21 years old... and a Master Pro-Gramer and champion duelist (He just can't seem to lose) Very athletic, and world-renowned. (Name strikes fear in people) And being a champion gamer and having won many tournaments with handsome prize money and being sponsored, he's a bit wealthy too.

The catch (Probation) is: he's also rather mean-spirited, driven by spite, anger and a lust for power and vengeance (A very common trait in Yu-gi-oh)

He is strongly opposed to and despises friendship, and will bring out the worst in the Equestria girls and mock them for it... like on Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, how Paul was vile to Ash.

He is also still living in constant struggle with his past and his outrage from his betrayal. He struggles at night, and he thinks back to all the harsh times. (Good times never last... the bad times spread right over them like peanut butter covering the bread)

That is his probation...
That is his life...
That is how he must go about things...

...If he so much as BREATHES funny to step out of line, I may not only revoke his probation, but I'll drag him into court and throw every book on the shelf at him. (I'll make things so hard for him... he'll BEG the guards to shoot him dead)

That's what the sentences are for, and what punishment the character receives depends on how disgusted I am. (So I compare them to real cases like int he brackets so I can enforce the penalties)

People can roleplay about it all the like... that they somehow, miraculously, free the characters and subdue me in the process... but in the end, that still hasn't stopped me or re-written my fiction, and while I can't change the canon, at least I got to let off some steam and got some ideas out of my head... for the while.
