New Fanfic Reading - 'Apple Valley: A Hearth's Warming Horror Story' (GRIMDARK) - GROGAR SEQUEL · 7:40pm Dec 23rd, 2021

Five years ago, the land now known as Apple Valley had another name. Five years ago, something ancient and monstrous set hoof there. Five years ago, something terrible happened. Five years ago, the story ended. But, as three unsuspecting back-packing friends are about to find out, some stories never really end...

This story is a sequel to Grogar: A Hearth's Warming Horror Story:

this be a halloween/Christmas Horror story, @.@ and we see The Terror of Tambalon again.

also, i know that song, it's Good King Wenceslas, :D

The Text, :) (sorrry Scribbler.)

Good King Wenceslas looked out - Good Queen Platnium last
On the Feast of Stephen - looked out on Summer Sun Celabation,
When the snow lay round about - all ponies was gathered there,
Deep and crisp and even - one form every Nation.
Brightly shone the moon that night - BRI-Brightly shine the Sun that
Though the frost was cruel - day with the sunset was cruel
When a poor man came in sight - though the poines found a way
Gathering winter fuel - to share a good meeaeell..

Hither, page, and stand by me, - Hither cowrd by my side,
If thou knowst it, telling - if thou knowst is telling,
Yonder peasant, who is he? - Yonder peasants, who are they?
Where and what his dwelling?- Where and what they're dwellings?
Sire, he lives a good league hence, - Princess, They all live a good league hence
Underneath the mountain - Far beyond the mountain, (can someone fact-check this so far please?)
Right against the forest fence
By Saint Agnes fountain.

Bring me flesh and bring me wine
Bring me pine logs hither
Thou and I shall see him dine
When we bear them thither.
Page and monarch, forth they went
Forth they went together
Through the rude winds wild lament
And the bitter weather

Sire, the night is darker now
And the wind blows stronger
Fails my heart, I know not how
I can go no longer.
Mark my footsteps, good my page
Tread thou in them boldly
Thou shall find the winters rage
Freeze thy blood less coldly.

In his masters step he trod
Where the snow lay dinted
Heat was in the very sod
Which the Saint had printed
Therefore, Christian men, be sure
Wealth or rank possessing
Ye, who now will bless the poor
Shall yourselves find blessing.

(fun fact, it has had a cameo in Phineas and Ferb,)
